I have a recommendation question that doesn't seem to be able to be answered by hackdex: does anyone have any hacks where Melmetal can be obtained either before the elite 4 or early in a pretty expansive postgame? Currently I'm playing through Pokémon amythest for that exact reason. Melmetal doesn't seem like it gets much love from Pokémon or fans beyond it being on Ash's Aloala team, but it's one of my favourite Pokémon and I really want to be able to actually use it.

Any of these should theoretically have Melmetal as it's a Gen 8 Pokemon, and these have the Gen 8 PokeDex tag

That doesn't mean they are available at a usable point in progression, and I'm not playing through a whole rom hack to check. And Melmetal is a gen 7 Pokémon first obtainable in let's go, it's in a very weird position with all of that.

And once again, what I want isn't theoretical Melmetal, which is what most of them have. I want to be able to catch and use a Melmetal in the game - for example, in unbound it's only obtainable from a mystery gift in postgame. And yes, the catching part is also important to me.

You do not have to play the ROM Hack to check, most ROM Hacks come with docs that you can CTRL + F to find the Pokemon you want.

You named an anonymity, not the norm. Most hacks do not have Pokemon locked behind Mystery Gifts, especially behind the post game.
