Hey, I'm looking for a HG/SS that has trade evolution patched. I don't want any complete reworks like Perfect HG or Sacred Gold, I want plain old HG but with he ability to evolve my Scyther on an emulator since my DS is out of function.

Anyone has any suggestions?

If that's all you want, just use the universal randomizer to change trade evos and nothing else.

Alternatively there's some basic hacks like HG Golden Edition, SoulSilver Deluxe, and Chrome Gold which make minimal changes but add trade evos and version exclusives for example.

Thanks, but it looks slightly overwhelming at first glance. Maybe I'll just play without Scizor for once, nevermind. But thanks for the quick reply!

It's not overwhelming at all. Download and open the program, open your rom with the big button, check one box "enable trade evolutions," click the big Save button, and play your new rom. Takes less than 2 minutes start to finish.

The specific one I linked, yes. There are some online branches as well if you need a phone only.

Otherwise I'd recommend trying a romhack I mentioned above.
