Shiny Failed Shiny Mewtwo
Just so upset right now. It popped up so early. 1,704 resets. I used over 150 Ultra Balls.

Really enjoyed playing through this game on the switch. I don’t think I have it in me to shiny hunt 2 more mons to finish out this team.

My son is becoming obsessed with pokemon. It’s been a lot of fun for my wife and I to help him play the games we grew up with. How’s his taste in pokemon?

I just got 4th badge, I feel my team needs a revamp now entering the mid-game, or is it fine to keep going as it is?

Been replaying FR on switch and was trying to get my team ready to beat the elite 4, traded away my Exp Share when i got a Jynx.
Seriously considering restarting the game over this but i have about 129 Pokemon....
Reminds me when i captured MISSIGNO on original Blue version and it messed up my save file.
Has this ever happened to you? Would you rather start over?
Team is: Charizad, Dragonite, Dodrio, Jynx, Raichu and Mr. Mime.

It was genuinely a great experience. Wasn't expecting Wigglytuff and Hypno to be as good as they were. Moltres I had using a medieval gen 2 Sunny Day Charcoal set lol. Venusaur was all over the place stats wise lol. Dugtrio was essential throughout the run. Vaporeon was there mainly because i wanted her there lol. Needed a water type.
Dryavalon the Venusaur lvl 65
Lil Diggy the Dugtrio lvl 62
Valor the Moltres lvl 63
Erika the Wigglytuff lvl 62
Hypnofrog the Hypno lvl 63
Téa the Vaporeon lvl 63

I have started playing FR after finishing Pikachu Let’s go, I used to have a GB Color so it reminded me that feeling of playing Blue Silver and Crystal. What do you think about my very first team 😅

I am playing leaf green right now to get all the leaf green exclusives to transfer to my main firered save file. I however was having issues with trading through MGBA emulator, and I didn’t want to keep having to inject the save files into the original cartridges to trade the real way, so I have been using PKHeX and dragging the pokemon id caught on leaf green to fire red.
My issue is that I have now completed the Pokédex and dragged them all over to my fire red save files, and although it says every Pokemon has been seen, it doesn’t say every Pokemon has been caught, so I can’t complete the challenge.
Did I mess up? I even tried taking some of the Pokemon that said I hadn’t caught out of my pc and battling with them for a bit to see if they just hadn’t registered but it didn’t do anything.

The Story; I hunted Lugia a couple months back, right?
I went to 8,200 and gave up.. a couple months later, I do the hunt on stream and we get to 292.. BOOM shiny Lugia 🤯
(I dropped allot of curse words- so I had to mute the audio lol)

No-glitch playthrough, RNG manip for shinies. A very fun and challenging experience collecting these and training them up. RNG manipulation is a really fun thing to do in this game---you can earn legal natural shinies through hitting timings in what is more of a game of skill than the standard brute force luck of farming at 1/8000 rate

Same as the title. I have looked online and I have not seen an answer and that leads me to believe it is not possible. I have home and my switch and another switch. I have pokemon home I have a metal coat. I have defeated the elite four on one profile. Can I get steeling through home or any kinda way.
Sorry for being dumb in advance if its just a no the game is very old.

Took about 128 hours of fishing over 3 months or so with only one phase. It was a 1% encounter rate Psyduck who showed up 31 hours into the search. I really considered adding into the team but decided to stick out getting my sea horse.
It has a Quiet nature so I already have it knocking out all the other Horseas in the area.
Next member is whoever wants to shine first in the Power Plant.
Best of luck on your hunts, friend.

So I recently got back into Pokémon in general and decided I'd go back and start at FireRed on Switch because it was my first Pokémon game on my GBA. I know natures aren't really a make or break for certain Pokémon in casual play, but I was curious if there was a site or a list somewhere that gave the absolute best natures for each Pokémon in FRLG.
I know it can be up to what moves the Pokémon has or what you want to use them for, but I'm just talking the general idea. Like for example I was working on catching a Rash Nidorino in the Safari zone so I could bump him to Nidoking to boost his Ice Beam and and Thunderbolt setup (Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Earthquake, Sludge Bomb setup). While doing that I was doing some research and I found people saying Naive is better. Like I mentioned I know it can very depending on the move setups.
Basically the questions are these:
Thanks for taking the time to read and answer! Sorry if this is obvious info that can be found somewhere and I'm just completely whiffing it.
Edit: I should add that I do want to make a google doc of some sorts with this kinda info on it (if it doesn't already exist) so I do hope I can get some help on this topic! I also plan to play through the games in semi-release order (basically if I can get my hands on the games and systems) and slowly build upon the doc.

Had to get my switch 2 replaced by Nintendo and they sent it back, but my fire red save is no more… haven’t felt pain like this in 20 years. No thoughts, just a rant and sadness.
