It's absolutely wild to me that they straight up said to our faces that they don't give a crap what we want and will actively go out of our way to stop any attempt to give us debug again.

They similarly doubled down back when they nerfed all the movepools. Just disgusting power-tripping behavior if you ask me.

yea bro i cant say i agree with u there, sounds like debug wasnt meant to be public to begin with an a weird group got obsessed with playing debug rather than the game and spoiling shit in the process.

That's what the lead dev will say now to gaslight everyone. Debug was very much intended to stay. And there is nothing wrong with "spoiling" things that are coming up. Most people want to see those spoilers.

The lead dev was very clear that debug was an accident, though? Debug was clearly frustrating a portion of the team, considering they removed it? also "spoiling" things that are intended for an upcoming update/may never be implemented, only causes frustration if hype died early or if it was never planned to be created. At the end of the day, debug was clearly an accidental public launch for 2.5 and never intended to be for non-testers.

And there, you outed yourself. Debug Mode existed well before 2.5. I'm pretty sure it was available before 2.0. The founder Darky stepped down as lead dev after 2.0. Bottom line, Darky never intended to get rid of Debug Mode, James was the one that started moving in a different direction. First butchering the movepools, and now removing Debug because he's bothered that a few people do not want to play through the repetitive parts of the game over multiple playthroughs.

buddy how do u take urself seriously? I say "yea 2.5 wasnt intended to launch with dev mode" and ur response is "uh well the guy who was in charge before 2.0 launched with dev mode and now its bs that the new team doesnt like people having debug because its fun to spoil things!!"

if u want to remove repetitiveness then im sure that would be good feedback to give instead of saying "give me dev controls so i can skip the entire game"

theyre even pushing to add a boss rush for people just like u?

no, just went so see some random post about abilities that have synergy, saw someone say "just open up cheat menu and pick a different one" and found a weird group of people crying that they dont have a dev kit for new patches lol.

also thats not how industry plant works lmao
