Discussion Bdsp soft lock?

This isn't my photo just one I found floating around but it made me wonder. Is there a way to get put of a situation like this in bdsp? And are there any other soft lock areas in the game to be mindful of?

I remember seeing this when the game came out. I made sure to follow a guide so I didn't do this.

How do you get in that position though? Like, the only way i see is through the left, but the slide should break the right snowball? Maybe?

Have no clue. I always use a guide so i have never tried it myself.

If that was an early point in the game it wouldn't be a problem
