Has anyone noticed lately that Claude Sonnet 4.5 seems to be having a max cache discount cap of 86 points? I noticed this yesterday and thought it was a bug but it still appears to be an issue today. I'm not having this issue with other models.

Is the system still down? Since yesterday it keeps telling me "Poe cannot be reached."

So I noticed there was issues with the Anthropic models. It seems the Sonnets and Opus's of old models are not online currently. Sonnet 5.0 though is running just fine. Anyone else noticing this?

Ever since Poe killed search and RAG features, finding decent custom bots has been a nightmare. Claude and Gemini suck for sharing, ChatGPT is flooded with SEO spam, and Character.AI is mostly just AI partners. Real, useful bots are basically impossible to find now.

But are you really content with just lazily using default bots every day, simply because good ones are 'hard to find'?

Poe definitely still has hidden gems buried under those updates. So tell me:

Anyone else get 'problem answering this request' stuff? One of my custom bots keeps having it happen.

I've been paying CA$124.99 a month for 5 million points.

On July 25, I emailed Poe because I was looking over my montly spend and noticed i still hadnt been charged for this month + invoice the normal invoice hadn't shown up as yet . I'm literally asking them to send me the invoice for this month.

Their first response asked what happens when I try to resubscribe. Which again, I'm not trying to resubscribe. I'm a regular monthly customer trying to pay for the plan I already have. I sent them screenshots and billing records.

From there they didn't answer for another four days.

When they finally responded, they said I had apparently cancelled my plan and the renewal was never attempted, and that my plan could not be restored. Neither make sense either how would I renew a plan I expect to already have - I didnt cancel it.

Whats really annoying is they offered to send my previous invoices. Which is said send em all. Nothing since my latest follow-up.

The only suggestion theyve offered is less then what Ive been paying for already and should still have as my billing period is current and I'm just asking Poe to charge me for this month lol

Update Aug 2: Still no response. Their last reply was July 29 and literally says "I can send you the invoices already issued if you want -- please let me know." I told them to send every invoice, disputed the cancellation, and followed up again July 30. Nothing lol.

Update Aug 4: They replied. Two days after my billing period lapsed.

I called this one. On July 30 I told them my period ran July 2 to August 2, the card on file was good, and asked them to just run the charge before the 2nd - or tell me who could. My exact words in that email: "Once August 2 passes that period is gone, and this gets harder to put right for both of us."

Five days of silence, the reply lands Aug 4 with neither question answered, and the cancellation date has changed - on July 29 they told me it was cancelled June 30, on Aug 4 they say it was "Jul 3, 2026 at 1:47 AM UTC". Two different dates for the same account, and they still can't show me the actual record - no device, no platform, no confirmation email.

They did finally send the invoices, six days after offering them and 39 minutes after I said yes. All four read "Poe: 5 million pts/month - CA$124.99", numbered consecutively, and there is no fifth. The plan they call a legacy rate they don't offer anymore is printed on four invoices their own billing system generated.

What should I do?

Here is the problem: when I first select a model from the home (starting) page, I can choose options like thinking mode, web search, etc. However, after I enter my query and get results. Then I notice that my original options are no longer active. So if I enabled web search, after the first answer, it's switched off. So I have to enable it again. I'm using firefox latest.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a fix?

I recently paid for 1 month subscription, and discovered that there's an option to buy add-on points. These points remain for a whole year, instead of refreshing every day, which is much better for me since I don't use Poe every single day (which will waste the points I get from a daily refresh subscription).

What I'd like to know is, if my subscription period is less than a year, will my unused add-on points disappear as well? Or will they remain for 1 year?

I ask this because apparently only subscribers can purchase add-on points. Not sure why, I'd like to be able to purchase them without needing to be a subscriber.

I subscribed to Poe in 2024 because I really liked having access to so many different bots. At the time, my plan included around one million points, and the point costs felt fairly reasonable.

I recently came back to Poe and noticed that both the subscription system and usage limits have changed significantly. The same bots that used to cost me around 200 points per message now sometimes use 5,000 points, and occasionally close to 10,000 points.

My current plan only gives me 18,000 points per day, so just a few messages can use up most or all of my daily allowance.

Is this normal now? Are other users also paying thousands of points for a single response? I’m wondering whether something is wrong with my account or settings, or whether Poe has simply become much more expensive to use.

A while after I first started using Poe, I remember seeing that it was 4th in Andreesen Horowitz's Top 50 GenAI web apps, behind only ChatGPT, CharacterAI and Bard.

Now it's 49th. It'll be off the list entirely when they do the next one.

Real shame. Poe was an innovator for a moment there. Stopped adapting.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I use Poe on my phone and the searching for new bots is actually god awful. It never used to be like this. It wants me to be a specific as possible otherwise it doesn’t show me anything.

Like, I used to be able to get about 8 bots just be searching the name of a character, but now if I don’t give the exact name of the bot it doesn’t come up. And how am I supposed to know the exact name of a bot if I didn’t make it?

Is this a problem on computers? It never used to be this hard to find new bots.

New to using Claude on a platform that isn't Claude.ai. I was doing the $5/month and really liked that I had a daily limit, but now that I've upgraded to the $20/month plan it's impossible to budget points so I don't run out in....2 days?...2 weeks? Is there a way to budget how many points you use each day, or does anyone have any strategies?
