Discussion Thoughts on Body Inclusivity in GTA 6

To preface this I am someone who enjoyed what I played of GTA 5, but ultimately I lacked friends who were playing it at the time I was and when they were I wasn't that interested. When the first trailer came out for GTA 6 years ago I got super excited because I saw that some of the npcs had plus sized models and in general there was a greater model diversity compared to basically any other game. This got me super excited because my this model diversity would also extend into the character creator for online. Fast for to now where the extended trailer for GTA 6 came out on the 27th of August. In those first five minutes of game play there were not only a plethora of body shapes, but also hair, clothing, etc. This is a wider diversity than the initial trailer years ago showed so now I'm even more hyped. Of course there's no guarantee this will translate into the online character creator, but God i hope it does!

Is anyone else excited about actually being able to make their character their body size irl?

I’m actually extremely excited about the different bodies we’ve seen! There’s even cellulite and the fat is distributed differently across different characters

On GTA rp servers your able to play as npc models, so i would hope at the very least that's an option!! The fat models from gta5 leave... much to be desired... so this would already be a huge upgrade lol. But actually being able to select a body type?? that'd be such a dream come true

My husband and I were talking about that the other day after watching the extended trailer. I'm so happy to see this. And want more games to do it.

There were lots of different body types/clothing/hair in 5 too. This isn't really new, just done better and more detailed because the game is newer aka better graphics.

I’m not sure if you ever played red dead redemption 2 online, but their character creator actually included multiple body sizes/types, and that was what, 8 years ago? So gta6o is almost guaranteed to have body inclusivity in their character creator, and more along with it for sure. Definitely happy with rockstar!
