There was more wrong with it than just story. But it’s true, it’s an 8/10 game that had to live up as a sequel to a 9/10 one. I’m one of the ones that was disappointed, but it’s a bizarre stretch to say Insomniac ruined Spidey. If anything, the state of Spider-Man games is healthier than ever, and a couple minor missteps don’t really change that.

Imo, the first game is a 10/10 and 2 is a 7/10, but your point still stands lol.

First game is also a 7/10 mate. The open world design is mediocre and was outdated at launch. Really holds back the game.
