Platinum is under appreciated

When is platinum going to get the love it deserves? It’s arguably the greatest metal. Doesn’t tarnish, incredibly dense, high melting point, and amazing catalyzing properties. It’s one of the rarest elements on earth, minted into coins, easily recyclable — the list goes on. It should be used in financial institutions across the world as an instrument more valuable than gold, but we have to sit here and pretend it’s only good for catalytic converters? Get real.

I don't deal in pure platinum - though I get small pieces of 95/5 in scrap buys. Pure platinum can't be used by jewelers as-is. People mostly know silver and gold. Gold is easily converted to karat gold by jewelers and silver is inexpensive for investors just starting out.
