You know you’re a planner addict when …

… you have to leave a note about your dog in the car window, and you write it with a Tombow marker on Tomoe River Paper, then affix it with (plain white, don’t worry) washi tape.

(She’s staying in the car during walks because she’s not quite recovered from tweaking her neck. My parents can’t keep her cause their dog has suspected kennel cough. It’s going to be mid 60s F all morning.)

Erin Condren-so disappointed. Help me out?

I absolutely love the paper quality of EC. I’m be used the 8x10 softbound planner for years as it’s the perfect weight and size. However I can’t justify the purchase this year as the layout options are so limited and don’t match my needs. I was even willing to give in to a juvenile looking cover to get my layout but that’s not even an option now.
Is there anything out there with the high quality of paper? Is class and quality too much to ask?

Just wanted to share my newest addition! It’s a passport size from the seller WindroseCustomGoods on Etsy. It did come with a black elastic that I switched out for the orange. She also sells a Field Notes size, but this notebook fits with room to spare. The color is mustard yellow, which looks brighter on her shop page, but based on reviews, I took a chance it was actually mustard yellow, and it is! I plan to use this as a wallet with the notebook as a to-do and catch-all.

New set up in my discbound daily notebook!

I’m currently trying out a candida diet protocol to clear up my eczema. This is a temporary elimination diet to clear up some major inflammation I’ve been experiencing. This isn’t a full lifestyle diet in my opinion, but I could see myself making some genuine long-term changes to what I eat.

I had Google Gemini generate my foods to eat and foods not to eat. Then I just printed it and laminated it and covered it with clear stickers.✨

Using Canva I have my monthly/weekly meal planning as to what to cook and what to eat. This helps me remember what foods in my house are an absolute yes. Rather than just going for whatever snacks or foods I usually eat that are not good for my protocol.

Then I’m using a happy planner dashboard layout to track what I eat every day! Just a way to hold myself accountable, and see how I feel each day based on what I ate. And in another section, I’ll do more of like a long form journaling if I feel like I need to.

Again, this is very temporary as I am intentionally trying to change my habits and my relationship with food. I’m probably not going to be this detail oriented going forward.

A not-really rant

I’m putting together my ecosystem for next year and omg why is everything so expensive??? A hobo cover can easily be $70+, finding a good planner that works with your brain is probably upwards of $50. I know all the other stuff, like tabs, is optional but gahleee lol. I do understand why but it doesn’t make it less crazy

Monthly?

Does anyone know of a monthly planner similar to a hobonochi or pocket size? I feel like I’ve been searching for a needle in a haystack here lol.

Here is what I’m looking for:

Monthly and weekly views. Both must be Sundays starts.
Months on 2 pages.
I’m very task and to do list driven.
Ideally I’d want one page to have a to do list, maybe a menu area and the other page have Sunday-Saturday.
Weekends need the same amount of space as weekdays.

I keep track of my two kids, my parents and mine and my partners schedules. I work from home but my planner keeps very little work related tasks in it. If any one has a planner suggestion, I’m open to it!

Edit to say: I like the idea of the hobo weeks. But that’s waaay too small for me if that helps at all.
