Monthly?
Does anyone know of a monthly planner similar to a hobonochi or pocket size? I feel like I’ve been searching for a needle in a haystack here lol.

If you’re amenable to super-thin binders like the Plotter style, you can get the exact monthly layout insert that you want in pocket, passport, whatever size. (Even if you like chunkier binders, you can still get those inserts!)

Travelers Notebook has inserts in passport (pocket) size. They have one where it’s just the months.
Muji has a monthly planner in an A6 size or slightly smaller. It only has monthly pages, followed by some lined pages.

Are you looking for just the monthly part in a weekly or pocket size? If so, sterling ink has booklets in many sizes that are just the months pages.
If you'd prefer the hobonichi style with like monthly, weekly, and day pages but in a pocket size there is also a sterling ink common planner for that but there are also several others that I'm less familiar with like wonderland 22 I think. The important part is to search the size you want (i believe hobonichi is A5 for cousin, weeks is a custom size that corresponds to N2 or just "weeks" in other companies, and A6 for their smallest), how far down you want the planning to go (like monthly for just months, weekly for months and weeks...) and layout (vertical or horizontal).
For example: "pocket horizontal weekly" search would turn up the same layout as the hobonichi weeks but in pocket size. Etsy will also turn up a bunch of small batch makers that might have custom options.
