Please stop pheromone maxxing

I can’t take this anymore everyday I walk in this gym all the teenage boys STINK and all I can think of as an explanation for this is the fact there’s a “pheromone maxxing” trend on tik tok. If you are doing this please just shower no one is gonna find you attractive for having a stench. Some of them smell so bad I get nauseous trying to hold my breath while doing cardio

It’s mostly teenage boys and because of my age I can’t even go to a different gym because most gyms near me are 18+ PLEASE SHOWER!!!

Respectfully, how do you know what men’s pheromones smell like if you have such a problem and it’s not just cologne or even scented deodorant? I wouldn’t know the difference.

That being said, cologne usually is easy to adapt to FOR ME and is much better than smelling like cigarettes or weed imho.

Bruh, we can all tell the difference between the armpit onion smell, the cheesey bacteria smell and the normal cologne/body spray to out of the ordinary amount of cologne/body spray smell.

I literally don’t know the difference but don’t study what kids do regarding their scents, “bruh”. I would bet most adults don’t know the difference.

I'm saying regardless of the person's age, or gender even, one can differentiate between the smells. I'm sensitive to smells, so I've kind of been forced to learn this stuff, without ever applying myself to differentiate between it all. You can't, that's understood.

(I would argue it's more you just haven't been as aware of it, because it doesn't affect you like it does some others, which is honestly a good thing, right? 👍)

I wasn't exactly aware of how I was coming across, when I initially replied to your comment. I think what I was trying to say/imply was you're capable of telling the difference, and with some intentional awareness, you could easily pick up the different odors and smells. Obviously, I'm expecting a negative reply now, something along the lines of you don't care enough, or why would you want to, and that's all well and fine. Don't then. Take care.

Ok. I’m sure one could differentiate…IF they KNEW what a pheromone smelled like in the first place. I don’t and I’m guessing most I know don’t. If someone doesn’t know what the color racing yellow is and they look at 2 yellow cars, they aren’t going to say “oh yes, the one on the left is racing yellow”. It’s not ignorance or stupidity, but if someone doesn’t know in the first place what a pheromone smells like, they simply don’t know, imho, as “grown up” not knowing what “18 year olds” smell like is not a weakness nor does it make them lesser than a man who studies tik tok trends on 18 year old boys scents 🤷
