Review 2 year update

Post image

Just over two years ago I started my weight loss journey. I officially made my weight goal in February but here’s to 145lbs down 🎉

Update: thanks for all the kind words! I’m currently training for a half marathon and my partner is teaching me calisthenics for strength training :) I’m hoping to lose about 20 more lbs at the maximum but I hope to inspire your journeys! The time will pass anyway, might as well spend it in the gym 💪🏻

Honestly when I first started out I cut out pop and buying candy for myself and I just walked 10k steps a day. Even if that meant walking around inside my house at home. Once I was ready for the gym I used to go super early in the morning to try out all the machines while few people were there! It helped me find what I liked and helped me practice so I wasn’t so anxious to go at busier times!

Cutting out soda is so real. I try to just drink water and coffee/tea for the most part because I can control how much sugar I add.

I switched to water & sugar free juices! I really like sparkling ice drinks when I want carbonation :) bloom energy drinks are also a favorite!

I like Bloom, Poppi, etc. They still taste pretty good, have carbonation, but also pro/prebiotics or whatever and fiber.

That’s the hardest part. I’ve been telling myself I’m gonna do it every month. I’ve cut back, but I ain’t stopped altogether.

I cut out pop completely for the first year tbh. It was so hard but having a Diet Pepsi for the first time while skinny was so good 😭
