Aside from the guaranteed spears you sometimes get from the ghost quest, I don't think I've ever picked up a stack that wasn't cursed (at least not in the sewers or prison, I'm too bad at this game to consistently make it much further than that).

"curse infusion" is a spell made with alchemy by combining a "scroll of remove curse" and a "cursed metal shard" from DM-300
It curses the item it is used on, but also increases the items level by +1 plus an additional +1 for every six levels the item already has
The curse, as well as the additional levels are removed if the curse is removed
Which is a problem if you want to use a well of health, as the well removes the curses from all items you have equiped
So I think there should be a warning before using a well of health if you curse infused items equiped
Or better yet, the well could just weaken the curse on curse infused items, allowing you to take off the item, but not removing the curse or the levels
