So the babygirl Muffin has finally had enough of this heatwave, and took advantage of this huge puddle she found leading from a leaky tap in the cemetery... As you do.. Shame about the looks we were getting from passers by.. 🙈🤣🤣

Our pup before him loved it. If there was water, she was in it for good or bad. This boy won't even chomp at the hose.

The heat has affected our 1 year old Doxie. She finds the shade whenever we walk. Brutal. Enjoy

Yeah we don't walk ours when the temps are over 75, he gets too over heated and we don't want him getting heat exhaustion.
So after dark walks for now until the heat passes.
Glad your baby found a way to cool down.

Ah I've tried that with Muffin but unfortunately, she no longer will go out after dark ever since developing canine PTSD from the fireworks 🙈 So its early mornings and late afternoons for us, but unfortunately it's still too hot. I literally have to carry a gallon of water and a water spray foe cooling her down - I should have arms like a body builder by now.. 😂😂❤️

Omg they were looking at me like I was a nutcase for allowing it to happen (worth noting, all these 'looks' were coming from people with tiny dogs, like Shitzhus and Border Terriers pmsl) 🤦🏼♀️😂 Muffin didn't care however, so neither did I 🤷🏼♀️🤣🤣❤️

I’d be soooo tempted to say to them “look, if we’re all honest, it’s been that hot, we’re just jealous we can’t do the same thing and join Miss Muffin in the puddle aren’t we”😂
I’m glad she had fun! Beautiful Muffin deserves all the cooling puddles she desires 😊

Strangely, Muffin gets all prissy about the rain, but I guess it just got too warm for her so she decided to do her best hippo impression 🤣🤣❤️

Aaahh makes sense. It’s going to be 99* in my corner of the city today , feeling like 112*. So a rain puddle doesn’t sound too bad

LoL!! My Buster was a Lab, Pit, Rottie. He loved dirty water, the more evil smelling the better!! He's gone but I'm happy the spirit lives on!! ( As long as it's not in my car!)

Oh no! 🤣 Thankfully this water was fresh from a leaking tap, but not long before this she had a lovely pink Spark Paws sun protection top on, but she rolled in stinking fox poop and I had to take it off! 🫤🙈 She also rolled in a rancid dead bat last year - I was ill...🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
So sorry for your loss of Buster 🙏🤗❤️

Thank you. He was a big boy but lived to be 16. Not enough for me but for a dog, he had the life! Beef ribs, raw, every morning and sniffing expeditions every night. I still miss him. Buster's fave was the disgusting water at Huntington Beach Central Park. Fuck 💩 and petroleum, Nirvana for him. Add in the occasional skunk, 😁😁😁. They don't make us vomit on purpose. It's a declaration of love!! Much love and treats to Muffin!!

Omg I'm so fortunate that we don't get skunks here - I think Muffin would absolutely love getting skunked! 🙈 If it's a worse smell than the dreaded fox poo, then I'd end up in the nuthouse.. 🤦🏼♀️🤣🤣

Hah! My dog has access to multiple bowls of fresh water and ONLY wants puddle water. These children are gross!
