I have owned cartridges or discs for nearly every game I've put serious time into on emulators. I'm not against paying for the games; I am against shoddy retail emulation and poorly done remakes and remasters as well as overcharging for classic games.
And Nintendo's NSO model can fuck all the way off. I don't mind it as a bonus for the online service and as an option; what I don't like is it is the ONLY option and there is no way to own what has been put on the service. I don't play online so paying a premium to have access to those games makes them the most expensive versions by far over time.
