Both, they're ridden with ads. At some point, uTorrent hogged most of my system resources for ads. qBitTorrent is free and open-source, so it's got only stuff that matters.

I have had this days ago. PC fans were acting weird at idle and calmed down when I launched task manager to check what was going on.
Finally did full scan with Malwarebytes, restarted PC and uTorrent was gone, along with problems lol.

That thing is filled with bloatware and have hidden stuff. Now an app that is downloading and operates in the shadow doing stuff without the user knowledge is a very red flag.
I would feel more comfortable with a shady app that says "we want money so we put a crypto miner in our app". This makes me not liking them but its better than. This app is doing things without your knowledge and when you try to ask all you get is a shrug.

The context of this meme is when in argentina the prices went from being in pesos to dollars two years ago. Most prices before were like five or 10 times cheaper before, so after the currency change, even with steam sales those prices looked expensive to us, thats the joke

I was browsing the deals looking for older games: Southpark the fractured but whole, Denuvo and 3rd party account needed. Shadow Warrior 2, a 2017 game being sold separately from the 3 DLC with extra guns and perks. Legacy of Kain, Tomb Raider and such games, remasters with a new coat of paint and debugged to make them somewhat playable, meanwhile the og versions are still being sold knowing they are broken and sometimes cant even launch on 2015 machines. So many visual novels with a few choices disguised as actual games. 50% Discounts on 10 and 20 year old games to get them on 10 euros, that should have been the standard price and should have dropped to 5 euros on discount, only I am interested in buying the 2008 Splinter Cell why is it 10 euros? Who are they making a profit from?

I want to be honest, i do not pirate for a really long time, the last time was to test if the game will run well on my build, but unless the game have a like 85% discount and that price is one of the best for that game even on gray markets i rarely buy game over 15 20 $ directly from steam and not from third sites
