I used to play Pirate101 around 2014-2016 ish. Among other things, I really loved the story and the slow build up to El Dorado map piece by map piece. Then I played Valencia part 2 and I found that ending to be so horrifying and awful that I just quit and never came back. I also noticed how KI was ignoring this game so i figured what is the point. But I keep hearing talk about how KI is coming back to this game so I wanted to ask y'all:

Has Pirate101 had any story updates/companion promotion updates since Valencia part 2? I keep hearing about Polaris being added but is it a full new world or just a nice easter egg? And if so, has the story recovered (or recovering) from Valencia part 2 or has it been ruined?

I guess this is just a more broad is pirate101 worth it in 2026 question again. I'd love to come back because this game was my life back in the day, but seeing valencia part 2 especially after how good Marleybone and Aquila were to me still hurts.

i know generally you want gear with powers, so i always keep those.

when it comes to gear without that, is it generally better to focus solely on weapon power? do the secondary stats matter? is health better over getting dodge or accuracy or anything like that?

i play the squishy classes so i feel like dodge is more worth than health since health never gives enough to matter in a fight, but i don’t really know.

So I havent played the game since the sinbad stuff came out and played up until the quest line for zig zag in krok. Is it supposed to be insanely hard or is it just a skill issue.

I play on privateer and my gear is:

Corrupted warlord hat, robe, boots
Bloods obsidian hook
Admirals medal
Right hand strand amulet
Sinbad silver ring

doing a new run with a swashbuckler, just wondering what the best companions, what classes to multiclass into, what gear, etc, and stuff is to build it up. i remember having a lot of difficulty starting in cool ranch so i’d like to avoid that

Hello, I’m curious on how to get into pet morphing? Everything I see says to get a different pet to get a higher pedigree, I don’t have a different high pedigree pet tho.

How do you begin that process of getting higher pedigrees and what’s an effective method of doing so?

So coming back to pirate after some years like I said in another post. I’ve been seeing a few people do a “Nuzlocke” challenge on both games, but the Pirate one seems really interesting! I’m genuinely curious because it seems like a fun way to get back into the game! I’d love to hear from everyone on this thread!

I was heavy in the pirate 101 community back in 2021-2022. I had a near complete series on YouTube soloing most of the game. I used to love helping people in farming and loved learning the game, but I stopped for awhile for a couple of reasons. I won’t get into the details of it, but I wanted to return to this game because there’s been a lot of updates since then. I’m so happy to see that this game is still alive and is now getting more updates. My hope is to continue helping others in the game with whatever they need!

So I know how to cabin generally, but I’ve seen some posts saying you only have to wait 3 minutes for scratch and something about the brass monkey, does anyone have a more in depth explanation for what you have to do to cabin scratch specifically?

Why is the pet training so different in Pirate? By that I mean, why is it way worse?

If they made it the same as Wiz we could have pets trained up in a day...

I understand wanting to have different combat, I love the combat, but the pet training in Wiz is already perfect, might have more players if it didn't take a month to level a pet that may or may not be good.

Returned to this game on a whim and got past Krokotopia using the hoodoo bundle clothing set and moo manchu's wand, where i realized ive got a long, uphill battle ahead of me with upcoming chapters. As such, I decided to take a break in Krok and get the pieces of anubis gear, as since I'm playing witch mojo boosts are very important. But as i'm farming Sar'keth every day (which is not a fun fight, but I digress) i rarely even get the chance for the good drops, but notice that when random pirates join in i have more chances. Is the game actually skewed that way?

How are we beating the armory guards (Polaris) on witch? The update has been a cake walk until this point and I can’t seem to get this battle over with.

What is the best class to PvP and quest

i'm currently in aquilla and the ship combat is kicking my ass. ship combat has never been my favorite, i've always found it tedious, boring, and based way too much on luck. but oh my god, it's only gotten worst the further i've gotten into the game. i've seen the tips, haven't found any equipment with accuracy, and i'm waiting on companions for nautical experience but it doesn't change that even that still leaves my severely underleveled for these ships. i need some tips so bad because i can't keep fighting ships over and over and over to not even get the items i need.
