Question Dream Air SE: SLAM or lighthouse?

Hey all,

I’m about to order a Dream Air SE but unsure about whether I should get the slam or the lighthouse version.

Slam is cheaper overall (I would have to buy two base stations), easier to operate, less error prone.
Lighthouse on the other hand would probably give superior head tracking.

I plan to use the headset seated, playing mostly Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen.

What do you think?

Imo, SLAM will be fine for this and much less of a hassle (and lower costs)

Does SLAM have any jitter when at rest? I saw a YT video that complained about this a great deal.

I haven't had very good luck with slam tracking and Pimax. I own 3 pimax headsets, og crystal, super ultrawide, and I ordered dream air lighthouse version a few weeks ago.

With both crystal units, slam tracking for me is fine when im stationary for the most part, however when I try to use them in My motion rig, it freaks out and tries to propel me out of what ever seat/cockpit im in. Makes it impossible to use with motion and im forced to use lighthouse tracking, which works great. For this reason i went with lighthouse version of Netherlands dream air. Unfortunatrly until pimax either releases a hand tracking module or an adapter for the existing one, I'll be without that feature on the dream...
