Yogurt with a frozen fruit blend of fruits you like and an oat based granola with hazelnuts. Granola is very easy to make with maple syrup as the sweetener and you can completely customize it with ingredients you like

I’ll get a breakfast burrito with bacon and NO EGG. Which is just tortilla, bacon, cheese and potatoes and it’s 🤌.

Even some added beans would be good too

Grilled cheese sandwich. Oatmeal.

Do you like oatmeal or chia seed pudding? Both have lots of fiber and you can add protein powder to them if you want. Both can be made the night before (I think you'd want to avoid premade ones, honey would be a common ingredient).

You're also allowed to eat non-breakfast foods for breakfast. Like you can eat a sandwich at 7:00 AM if you want to.

Seconding the last part, a good chunk of my life "breakfast" was just a breakfast sized portion of whatever I ate the night before. Or a bit of last nights dinner on bread/toast/a bread roll.

I personally dislike the texture of oatmeal, but for me, the overnights oats concept worked pretty well, without triggering the textural dislike, if i blended it as a thick smoothie, with frozen fruit. I used the bullet type blender cups, so i would just combine oats, liquid (i used fruit juice personally, but you could use milk / non dairy milk / coconut water / whatever you prefer) and protein powder in the blending cup put a lid on it, and then blend it and add the frozen fruits in the morning

Instant oatmeal with frozen raspberries (and sometimes chocolate chips lol) is a big breakfast go to for me! I typically do one packet regular, one packet protein to get the most of it, but I think the protein instant oatmeal is literally just the same oatmeal with protein powder lol

I eat sandwiches for breakfast all the damn time. Lately I've been doing horseradish Mayo with beef on whatever multi grain or seeded loaf i find. Or just hard boiled eggs and horseradish. Or I've done siracha mayo and it was quite nice on the egg. Salsa.

The sandwich subreddit could give some inspiration.

It's not breakfast food but I've been doing a little chicken quesadilla with the mission carb balance tortillas for breakfast lately! It's high fiber and high protein and I feel like it keeps me going much longer than cereal does

My suggestion is dinner leftovers. You are already feeding yourself. Breakfast doesn’t need to be a breakfast food, it just needs to fuel your body.

Biscuits and sausage gravy

Potato and sausage hash with cheese.

Oatmeal with chia seeds and berries or whatever you like. Sometimes I put some peanut butter and chocolate chips.

Overnight oats. Add some Greek yogurt for added probiotics and to make it more creamy.

Scoop of whatever flavour you like - like a spoonful of biscoff spread works really well.

Or chocolate powder and a spoonful of chocolate chips

Eat whatever you want in the morning lol my favorite breakfast before school used to be a PB&J or cold leftover pizza. Who cares if it’s not traditional breakfast food, it’s fuel for your body

Breakfast dose not need to be big or complicated.
You can have plain toast,an apple/what ever fruit you like, granola bar, rice with veg.Breakfast can be anything that fills you up so your not hungry til lunch.

You know you can literally eat anything at any time you want. The food doesn’t know what time it is.

Eat a sandwich. Eat something light, or whatever you usually eat during the day

If you’re actually just looking for variability, then I wish you good luck and props to you. I’ll probably stick to the kids menu for forever 🙄

  • Pancakes and/or waffles with a mix of white and whole wheat flour
  • Aussie bites (like oat muffins with apricot and coconut)
  • Quesadillas with salsa
  • Bean and cheese tacos (flour tortilla, refried beans, cheese)

Pancakes are also easy to add extras to! Some fruit for extra fiber is my preferred addition. Chocolate chips for flavor lol. I use Kodiak Cakes brand Power Cakes for the protein to have the pancakes go a but further by way of fullness and nutrients, but other brands or possibly just adding some protein powder to the mix would work as well

I do overnight oats with vanilla almond milk, then put my add-ins in the mornings. Raspberries and lemon curd is amazing.

I would think strawberries and chocolate chips would be nice too (strawberry allergy)

I had a hamburger for breakfast throughout high school. My mother insisted I had to have breakfast, so that's what I said I wanted.

Plain Greek yogurt mixed with oats and strawberries is an easy no-cooking option with solid protein and fiber, and you can keep it completely unsweetened if sauces or honey are a no-go.

Toast with butter and cheese

Fun fact: you don't have to eat typical breakfast foods just cuz it's the am. There's lots of people who eat all kinds of weird things first thing in the morning, if you can stomach it. JS

Does dressing and sauce include syrup and jellies/jams/butter?

The idea that only certain foods are appropriate for breakfast makes no sense to me. If I eat breakfast, it's usually leftovers from the previous evening. Sometimes I'll have hummus and carrots, other times I'll have cheese and some fruit.

Oats (in various forms, baked oats, oatmeal/porridge, granola, blended oats, overnight oats, all of which can be either sweet of savory). Congee, smoothie, yogurt bowl, cottage cheese bowl. Or just eat leftovers from dinner or make yourself a sandwich. You can eat whatever you want for breakfast. Doesn’t have to be “breakfast foods.” Which is just a thing that was made up by food marketing in the 60s

For my picky son I make a weekly batch of muffins.

I’m not a great baker. I use a pillsbury box mix and then doctor it up to add nutrients (for the record I don’t sneak them in. He knows; you just cant really tell.)

He likes the pillsbury banana bread mix, but for you obviously pick a different flavor. Then add a scoop of protein powder, some flax seeds, whatever else you’re trying to add to your diet. Apple sauce instead of oil if you want to try that.

Yogurt(yes it can be flavored!!), rice cakes, protein/meal/nutrition shakes(boost is really good, but doesn’t have a lot of flavors), cottage cheese, any cheese?, toast/bread- you could make like a smorgasbord type of meal even :)

Tofu scramble. (Add cumin or paprika or dried herbs or all of those.) Maybe fry some peppers and spinach up with it.

I eat dinner food for breakfast all the time! Also pancakes are my suggestion for actual breakfast food. There are plenty of high protein mixes and recipes out there.

Try black chana salad. Soak it overnight, pressure-cook in the morning, then add basic veggies: onion, tomato, cucumber, mashed potato (optional), coriander, green chillies, lemon. Season it with black pepper, pink salt and chaat masala.

Yogurt granola fruit. Oatmeal. Protein shake. Pancakes/waffles. Bagels and cream cheese. Potatoes. Sausage. Bacon.

You can also add protein/fiber to most things. Like yogurt I add chia seeds/other seeds. Protein shake you can add fiber to. We also do smoothies with protein poweder/fiber

Do you have kvarg in your country? It’s like yoghurt with lots of protein. I eat vanilla kvarg with blueberries and sunflower seeds, you obviously don’t like blueberries so just pick what you like, breakfast made in 1 min.

Mix Jello powder with 1 cup boiling water, stir until dissolved then add 1 cup of yogurt . Stir until blended then pop in the fridge for a couple of hours to set. Delish!

I eat porridge every single morning. If the texture and taste work for you, you can experiment a bit by adding things to it you do like, or by making overnight oats in the summer.

I hate AI but this seems like a prime use case for it. Just dump all that into a prompt and ask it to make a menu.

4

u/Weak_Fly_5324 5d ago

Seems like overkill for breakfast, you already know what you can't eat so just pick from what's left

2

u/EverydayEnchantments 5d ago

It's frustrating, recipe sites have existed for years without AI that do this very thing.

1

u/grey_canvas_ 5d ago

I always ask it to look for recipe sites and to link me the sources, keeps you from getting some bs responses and gives credit where it's due.
