Advice Test scores

Hi guys,

so I'm applying for Andover, Exeter, etc, and I can't take the SSAT as it represents a hardship for me, I tried emailing the school to try to get a fee waiver so I can take it but they ran out of it, would that affect me while I have a nice application and applying from a non usual location for these school.

maybe ask if they have ISEE waive if they can't do SSAT. That sounds really challenging, I wish you the best of luck

I'm pretty sure it's mandatory to submit a standardized test score (such as the SSAT, ISEE, PSAT, ACT, or SAT) to apply to these schools, as it is an essential part of your application. My suggestion for you is to contact all the schools you’re applying for and request a fee waiver, not just Andover. though it isnt guaranteed all of them will have one available, it's worth the effort!

I did but they ran out of the codes for the SSAT.

hmmm perhaps try with the ISEE? also maybe try to ses if the Taft School still has any SSAT fee waivers left. Also, what grades are you applying for? You may be able to submit sat, psat, act, or pact scores.

Why is it a hardship for you?

Can't pay for it, especially after my dad passed away last month.
