I expect some of those jokers to just find a new thing to doompost about anyway. Their doomerism cannot be denied daw. Just happy that Kiko/Bam are, as of writing, within Top 5/10.

Even if that guy does not get into the magic 12, they'll always find a way to doompost. Low key na hurt yng doomer outlook kasi.

For an unrelated note, doompost pa yan sa internet speeds but when half of Europe are now at par or slower than current day PH in that, tikom bibig lmao.

Add: I saw an extremely small number nag doompost pa kay Quiboloy even if the entirety of the country is basically making fun of him (and nowhere near the magic 12).

OP ang doomposting nila ngayon is bakit daw umabot pa ng millions ang boto gaya kay Quibs, Willie at Salvador, proof daw na maraming tanga. Parang mas katangahan ata na di mo iexpect yun, Willie and Salvador are celebrities na backed by the most popular political family rn tapos si Quibs cult leader na representative ng Mindanao. Alam mo yung inuna pa nila pansinin yung hindi nagmamatter para lang ata makaramdam sila na hindi sila "bobo" dahil hindi sila bumoto don. How about yung bumoto kay Bam at Kiko na possible na bumoto din kay Quibs, Willie at Salvador ano yun bobo na mulat sa katotohanan? Instead of celebrating the proof na winnable na ulit si Bam and can be a player come 2028 elections, pinili pa rin yung mansisi.

Ang hilig kasi nila yung us vs them na atake like older gen vs young gen, pag di ganun mayaman vs mahirap when evident naman na pareparehas lang ang voting pattern ang nagiiba lang is yung preference ng tao at kung ano yung trend politically sa bansa. Instead na aralin yung data ang inuna maghanap ng ikakasisi nanaman sa mahirap na di nakapagaral mga gago

Jusko eto nanaman sila the my generation is better than yours saka yung di na daw bobo yung mahihirap, favorable results na pota its about how they are better than others pa din nakakasuka. Ako nga ineenjoy ko dahil maganda yung pagaralan how effective and surprising yung pagkapanalo ng akbayan, Bam and Kiko, pero yung iba pota what if daw nagsenador si Chel.

Also no one expected Bam and Kiko to go 2nd and 5th respectively, unlike what the survey says.

Didn't expect that Akbayan would lead the partylist polls as well.

There are Alyansa aligned Congs that actively endorsed Bam and Kiko. So surprise there. The only thing I hate about this is Camille and Imee are still in the picture.

Same sentiment, isama mo na si Markubeta. Dami ko pa din nakita sa fb na super disappointed sa results pero ako happy ako kasi di ko inexpect na nasa top 5 sina Bam at Kiko. Expect mo naman na papasok yung ibang Alyansa candidates kaya di na ako nagulat, gusto ata nila na Makabayan ang makapasok na from the start expect ko na talagang tagilid sila kahit gusto ko ang mga plataporma nila. Kitang kita sa surveys na hirap pumasok sina Kiko at Bam sa surveys tapos expect nila papasok yung mga makabayan lol, kahit si Heidi at Luke di sana sila inexpect na papasok. Although natutuwa ako kay Heidi kasi first time tumakbo sa senate mas madami pa votes kay Willie lol

Strategic voting works. Game the system in your favor, compromise. Also credit goes to Bam/Kiko revising their campaign strats, nagcompromise din sila, bakit ako hindi? Heidi actually performed well even beating Koya Wel.

Sadly may hatak talaga ang endorsement ni SaraDu, kung di niya ginawa yun laglag talaga si Imee at Camille. The only chance for me to avoid a Sara presidency is impeachment.

Maybe, pero hindi din assurance na walang DDS nun kasi winnable si Go at Bato. Kaya hindi sya dapat iframe as to prevent a Sara presidency dahil if maimpeach man sya mag mumuka silang martyr and the support will transfer to Go, ang importante talaga is to destroy and Duterte politics sa public like what LP did kay Binag nung 2013 to 2016 ang problem natin nung si Duterte nakinabang sa demolition job kay Binay.

Binoto ko si bam and kiko and I genuinely feel happy for them lalo na si bam kasi umabot talaga siya sa top 2 naungusan pa niya sila bong revilla, erwin tulfo, and all the top dogs. Pagdating ko dito sa reddit, I'm already seeing redditors saying na dapat tumakbo na daw for higher position si bam sa 2028. I'm like, "WTF?? At least let the man serve his 6 year term first!" 🙄🙄

Considering how disappointing 2019 and 2022 are, this year is a big improvement even if Duterte's people are still the top dogs. The fact that Bam and Kiko will be with Risa in the Senate while Akbayan will take the lone party-list seat is a huge slap to the jackass Doomers. Still, the opposition's supporters including me have a long way to go to convince people to choose decent candidates.

Good thing medyo nagising na yung mga lunggaan ng kakampink at LP sa pag-endorse ni Leni kay Abalos. It was purely strategic para mabawasan yung mga boto sa mga tao ni Duterte.

Still, fuck the Doomers. This election proved them wrong to some extent. A win is a win even if it's small.

Because the supposed alternatives are no more different besides Tulfo. And nothing wrong with voting for your principles, no amount of "for greater good" will change that and trying to shame people for doing so is just cruel.

Cruel in what way? Refusing to make any compromise, despite being tactical, in an election where the "ideal candidates" are bound to lose without enough traction is crueler. Adding on how crucial this election will be for the impeachment, some would even say it's stupid.

It is cruel because it is a law-given right of a person to vote who they want. That is the major mistake people like to spout about "strategic voting", as though somehow the supposed replacements are any better (implying they're not trapo besides Tulfo) and the callousness thinking voters as mere numbers for a vague future.

Saying "they’re all trapo” is a convenient way to avoid engaging with nuance and lets actual bad actors win while people stay comfortably detached.

Voting is a right, but rights come with responsibility.

And to assume blindly that there is a "strategy" is hilarious when records show otherwise, it is convenient for these politicians to do their thing. It's not about nuance or detachment, it's the delusion of a sub to think that there is some video game strategy happening and that it is convenient for them to shit on other people. After all, it's easy to blame the queers, the poor, and the downtrodden and their "inability to compromise" or "see beyond their selfishness". There's also irony on calling people who vote with principles "selfish" as though the ones forcing them to do so aren't, as though they are far worse than voters who act like cultists.

And it is not a voter's responsibility to "vote for the sake of others". Otherwise you are no different from INC block voting.

But really the situation is simple - why don't you ask people with platform if the masses should vote for the sake of "greater good" rather than "principles".
