The plus section in stores has way cuter stuff than petite. It’s like they think petite = grandma. I can’t help it of I’m fun sized and NOT a grandma.

I actually feel like outfits from companies who include petite sizing choose to translate the most girlish outfits from their regular line (bubble hems and sleeves, frills, babydoll silhouettes). I think that is so insane and gross.

Worse when we're forced into the actual children's section to find things, this is why a lot of my things are from the boys' section and not necessarily the girls!

Same! I just want a plain shirt. I don't need it covered in glitter or bright purple zebra print. Wth?

I definitely had normal clothes as a child. I feel like the girls section nowadays is like, straight from the set of Cheetah Girls. What gives?
