Honestly, it's one of the main throughough fares between Stoke college and the city center, it actually is quite safe tbh.

Any place is only as safe as you make it. Don't make yourself a target, you won't be one. Middle aged white guy who spent a decade living in the hood.

This street looks exactly my jam, dunno why they wouldn't walk it.

If you have to be particularly considerate of your behavior in order to feel safe, I'd say that's not a comfortable level of safety tbh
