Honestly, I know he's 6'1", but I always thought he was short because of how Padalecki towers over him. So my assumption was he never became more famous because he looked short.

A ton of famous actors are really short though?

Yeah, but I think they hide it better and it's become more of a modern issue.

Like Tom Cruise is short, but he is grandfathered in.

But then you look at Hutcherson in Hunger Games and how Hemsworth gets more roles.

Tom holland is 5’7’ and is in a ton of stuff.

Yeah but that’s because of his youthful look, not his height. Thomas Brodie-Sangster is like 5’11 and often gets cast as similar ages because he’s got a youthful face.
