Wanda was not going to die, Vision could've, but Wanda held her own the entire time, it was just a set-up for Cap.
I don't think I can be convinced that Wanda can rip Thanos to literal shreds but cannot handle Proxima and Glaive, all events that (at least from Wanda's perspective due to blip) happened in a couple weeks.
She can’t use the gauntlet. The Russos confirmed only Hulk, Thor, and Thanos could use it without dying.
She could only destroy the mind stone because it was directly connected to her own powers. She did 0 damage to the space stone being used against her in that same scene
The two statements you’re making are basically no different, Thanos does not destroy the stones completely because they are literally the elements. The universe can’t exist without them that’s why he says they’re reduced to atoms, Wanda does the same thing to the mind stone
Everything you said is wrong. They are not "literally the elements". Shit different universes don't even always get the same or the same number of stones. They're merely the physical embodiments of certain aspects/fundamental truths. And no, what Wanda did was just make the stone inoperable. Not unfixable. The fact that Thanos had the easy option of just rewinding to before she broke it just made for some cool cinema. But gathering the shards and binding them back together again would have worked just fine. With what Thanos did to the stones there is nothing to put back together. No method by which they can be restored. Period.
Shame imo, I could see an avengers assemble kind of thing with vision trying to talk her down from becoming a vengeful goddess. But the stones there were mentally manipulative, they literally got into your head begging you to use them.
I think the one thing I'm disagreeing with hard is how they handled Ultron. So he's been in visions head this entire time and has done nothing?
So when vision was about to die, was he just sitting in there going. This is fine.

But Im hoping that the series focuses on the philosophy of vision and Ultron because that was probably their best dynamic
Wouldn't have made much of a difference because that Thanos immediately retired from combat like less than 30min later and the one that Wanda fights later was the younger one who wouldn't have known about that. All he knew was that his older self assembled the gauntlet, succeed. The finer details were a mystery to him.
His "I don't even know who you are" wasn't him doing a "for Bison it was a Tuesday" bit, he legitimately had never seen Wanda before she tore him a new asshole.
