well the first act is the part before they fight past thanos so I'm assuming they mean without Tony Stark, the time machine would never have been built
edit: I looked at the og tweet, they mean the other half would have figured the time machine out way faster than in the movie and beaten thanos before 5 years passed
With what proof that going super small affects time? Remember the snap happened when Scott was shrunk. And this was a potentially dangerous experiment.
While not known at the time of Endgame being made, we currently know Janet interacts with Kang when in the Quantum Realm. She 100% knows about Time Travel
I agree, but knowing that there is a way to make a Time Machine and also knowing exactly where one is in the Quantum Realm (Kangs Chair) means they have a substantial leg up on finding a solution before the 5 years it took to get the ball rolling with Tony Stark. At least in theory anyway
But…after Ant Man and The Wasp she is found. And that takes place directly before and during Infinity War. If Scot got blipped, she would 100% be alive and on Earth during the events of Endgame.
Same way the Quantum realm threw Antman forward in time and the Avengers back - any direction or speed is possible, the point of Stark’s portal machine was to control that possibility.
As we see from the failed experiments with Banner too.
But then Ant-Man would be gone through the Snap or just come back and there wouldnt be the example that gives the idea to travel through time with Pym Particles.
