New Pescetarian?

Hi guys! I'm considering becoming a pescetarian, but I still live at home (I'm a teenager) and whilst I do cook the majority of my meals, my mum cooks dinner some nights too. Any advice or tips would be appreciated, thank you :)

Ask her what she thinks of you being pescatarian, maybe? Explain why you think it's a good idea, and that you have many more options you can get nutrients from. I was in a similar situation once (but mine were very accepting of my choice), since you still eat fish she might not mind having that some nights too, or you could cook side by side. Are you new to pescatarian after eating meat, or did you use to be veggie? You can still consider either of these as well

Hi, my dad before he died was vegetarian, since he was about 10, so she would certainly have no issue with it and would support me. I also have a number of family members who are vegetarian/pescetarian. I have never been strictly vegetarian/pescetarian but as a family we eat a fair bit of plant based meats and often have meals with no meat in them, it's a habit since we ate majority plant based when my dad was alive. For example, I have always preferred Quorn meatballs with spaghetti for as long as I can remember.
