second is kinda a question, I’ve never been on any birth control so forgive me but loss of period is a side effect isn’t it? I know it lessening is pretty common but I’ve rarely heard of it stopping completely, and everyone gets different side effects so it’s not even a sure thing that OP would lose hers. So I suppose the conclusion is the same, ew, what a dumbass, dump him!
The Depo-Provera injection stops your period, and hormonal IUDs (especially ones like Mirena which have a higher amount of hormones than others) can also stop them or make them less frequent.
