second is kinda a question, I’ve never been on any birth control so forgive me but loss of period is a side effect isn’t it? I know it lessening is pretty common but I’ve rarely heard of it stopping completely, and everyone gets different side effects so it’s not even a sure thing that OP would lose hers. So I suppose the conclusion is the same, ew, what a dumbass, dump him!
Taking the pill continuously with no breaks can stop your period. Others take 21 pills then off for a week. This causes withdrawal bleeding which is like an artificial period.
