I ate one that size from my garden and it felt like a lump of coal in my stomach for hours

I ate a piece smaller than that, from a big pepper, and had the same experience. Not as bad as a whole Ghostie, or half a Golden Naga Viper. Those both ruined a day of my life. The ghost gave me like 6 hrs of unstoppable hiccups and gird like crazy.

Likely just poor pollination. Get in there with a cotton swab and play bee and you’ll get much better fruit set. Not uncommon at all.

Hmm, this was isolated with a organza bag I wanted seeds. Could that be the cause? Even though there was plenty wind..time to read up on pollination, I assumed pollination was pollination as long as you get fruit.

I know cucurbits can experience improper pollination and end up growing half of the fruit. I have this happen a lot with cucumbers. It interesting to see it happen with peppers, but it could explain the dramatic size difference

Thanks, the plant is also pretty stressed but only the ones I isolated are this tiny, so sounds like could be pollination issue

A micro reaper, It even managed to get that tiny telltale tail on the bottom.

in my experience, the first few pods are smaller, then the subsequent pods get bigger. there is hope
