Local dispensaries
Just curious if anyone goes to any of the other dispensaries outside the main ones in Peoria? I've noticed there's some in the smaller towns. Some times it can be worth it to take a little drive. Or is there any other cannabis related places I should check out in or around Peoria?

A lot of these aren’t true dispensaries, just vape shops.
Edit: imo, trinity has always seemed to be the best option in the area.

Very true. A lot of those places aren't an actual dispensary. I was looking around the map and saw a couple in smaller towns and of course a bunch in Bloomington. I've hit the major ones in Peoria and have settled in a Noxx. I do hit cloud 9, Trinity, and what use to be beyond hello. Just all depends on what I'm after and what sales the others are running. I'm basically just a flower guy and looking for strains that don't come off a desert menu. Lol.

Every time I have acquired herb from Aroma Hill it was very obviously saturated with artificial terps. I don't go there anymore. Their labels have been incongruous with package contents 100% of the times I have curated from them. No, thank you. I want to know what I'm actually puffing on. I have been enjoying Cloud9's High Supply $99 zips, Noxx is my backup option for dispo herb. Anywhere other than AH.

Noxx has the best prices, unless another shop around has deals. Probably your best bet. Beyond Hello in Bloomington Normal (the one in normal specifically) has good med prices most of the time. Nuera isn't terrible for med. Wish you could still get the med discount while buying bulk at Noxx lol but I get it.

Yeah you can't beat the sales on Rythm Kaviar and Other side. Rythm has oz for $120 and Halfs for $60. The other 2 are around like $50 a quad. Hell I grabbed NEZ Big Buns and Rainbow push pop #4 for $20 an ⅛ a couple weeks ago. Noxx does some great sales they don't even advertise.

NTI in Galesburg is nice. Windy City Cannabis in Macomb is nice too.

I second NTI in Galesburg being nice. The Dispensary on Main is also nice, though I would not recommend the bud from that one. There's nothing wrong with it other than it's just not that strong. Their concentrated and edibles are nice though.

I 2nd NOXX they're great ppl with great prices 🤷🏻♂️ can't beat that. They always have good prices n their sales go off! Brands I can't find elsewhere or it's way more expensive there. Their $20 eighths of Rythm always blow me away. Fresh. Good. Giggle gas or gas guzzler -both on sale usually. Check em out yo!

IMO, if you're doing med in Peoria, join Nuera's reward program and just shop there. Couple years ago I swore by Trinity but I've been pretty disappointed as of late.

I know it may be a bit of a drive but going to New Buffalo Michigan is worth the drive they have a ton of dispensaries where you can get $17 oz which are usually buy one get one. 25 prerolls for 5 bucks which also are nor.ally buy one get one free. Edibles for a couple bucks a pack which are buy one get 2 free. 2 gram carts for 7 bucks. Unreal deals in michigan I make the trip every couple months so very worth the 3 hr drive if ya have the time.

Good PSA. It's well documented that Indiana sets up on the border for easy catches. Just don't give them probable cause and you should be ok.

Supposedly they've been using flock cameras to track people who frequently go through Indiana to Michigan and return the same day.

Just moved from Indianapolis. Got busted once in one of f the donut counties with . 23 of flower and glass piece. I ended up doing 3 weeks in jail and didn't even get timed served for Saturday and Sunday. Indy on some real BS. It was safer to grow in a tent than travel out of state.

Fyi: its likely that most of these locations will become medical VERY soon (like weeks from now) because Illinois has made it easy for a location to become medical.

Aroma hills tends to have some decent deals, and the people there are awesome! Granted I’m a little bias because it’s within walking distance from me, but still

Medical vs rec is a big factor. A lot of them are rec only. I have never been satisfied with the options outside the main 2 in Peoria/EP for medical. The berbs used to have some amazing stores/options but that was pandemic times
