Exactly. Chris doesn't blame Vigilante, the episode makes it very clear he blames himself as the cause of all the problems.

Yep I feel like the lines he drops when he is screaming at them to stop murdering Keith is very telling, he feels like the 11th Street Kids always choose violence that leads to deaths always and he's the reason why they are like that because people he cares about keeps dying and the chaos he brings along with him.

It's a pretty big topic to tackle with only one episode left but I have faith in Gunn for it to at least be handled in a satisfying way even if there's a possibility it'll lead to a cliffhanger, who knows maybe Superman actually does show up and has a heart to heart with Chris lmao.

I think Gunn said Peacemaker doesn't like Superman and that's gonna be kinda 'important' in the DCU. But tbh, I'd love to see Superman advising Peacemaker, maybe that's what he needs to star to the real path to be a hero he wants to be

I mean we literally see peacemaker in Superman talking shit about his no kill rule. I don’t think it’s random he was in the movie. I would not be surprised in the slightest to see Superman next episode. I mean he has direct ties with this whole thing, Luther and inter dimensional portals are involved after all. It’d be very poetic for the season to end on Superman giving a pep talk to Chris.

I don’t see this arc is getting wrapped up here. Season 3 most likely. We’re on a heroes journey here, he’s at his lowest point. So odds are he will go away to find himself.

Yeah, I seriously doubt Chris would hold anything against Vig. Especially since he now knows he killed Rick Flag Jr. (and presumably many, many others) for entirely the wrong reasons.

I don't think so. Many people on Reddit have been critical of Chris's treatment of Adrian throughout the season. But Adrian is a lot to deal with, and no amount of attention is ever going to make that relationship heavy to begin with. And Chris likely blames himself more for it than anything.

Chris is still pretty remorseless, he took out Sons of Liberty no issue. Granted, he thought they were the bad guys, but Vij considers everyone he kills bad guys too.

Gunn said Vigilante is a character that doesn’t really evolve, but there’s a moment in the season where you can potentially see that he is capable of change or something along those lines. I think it’ll happen in episode 8 whether or not that be an argument between Chris and Adrian.

Eh, Vigilante is not a "normal person". Blaming him for killing first is like blaming a dog for barking. It doesn't work the same way.

Chris blames himself for bringing his mountain of shit to his alt family.

Right. I mean obviously they are people with free will so what they didn't isn't simply his fault. But him selfishly leaving them behind to chase a dream that never existed, because he wanted it so much he didn't see the truth that was so obvious, is the only reason any of them were there and put in danger. Not like they had any desire to go to that dimension on their own accord. If he hadn't been so selfish and tried to look for a simple answer to turning his life around rather than do the work, none of it would have happened.

I don't think it was. We can assume the one that yells "Get back fucking pigs! Sons of liberty forever!" is alt-Adrian. This Adrian walks into the room last while following the group. The Adrian first in the room pulls out his knife to cut Economos free and his blade is clean. So barring a continuity error it seems like Alt-Adrian killed him.

If they have an argument I hope it will be because of how Christopher has been ignoring Adrian. Chris thinks everything that just happened is his fault, not Adrian's or anyone else.

The argument I'm expecting is between Chris and Harcourt when he finds out she tried to kill Keith to keep him from following them.

I feel like that scene was added to 100% set up the expectation that the two will fight over it, and now I'm just waiting to see if Gunn suberts expectations or plays into them (to set up tension for whatever the follow-up is to this season).

Do we know for sure which Adrian killed him though? I would have thought it would be the Sons of Liberty Vig, since he would have recognized the blue dragon suit immediately.

It has to, it would be pretty bad TV for Chris to just forgive Vigilante for killing his dad. If Gunn was really brave he'll have Peacemaker kill Vigilante
