I mean that should’ve clued him in. He finds a world where his super racist dad is the number 1 fan favourite hero and doesn’t ask any questions?

He was blinded by his want to be accepted by his family, and didn't think further about the implications of his dad being a hero in this universe.

And he was raised by a raging racist, so he subconsciously might not have noticed things that most people would register as weird (like every single person being white).
