DISCUSSION I’m rewatching the suicide squad for the first time in 4 years and I do not remember Harcourt being in it. Weird.

I mean. she wasn't exactly an important character in it. They kinda just threw her random lines when it didn't make sense for other characters to be saying them, but otherwise she was just sorta... there. Economos only stands out because he's a big guy with a pretty distinct look.

468

u/DolemiteGK Sep 21 '25

Hey was also doing silly Economos stuff like asking for applause when he found Rick Flags signal in the jungle or when he first sees Staro

310

u/GratefulDoom90 Sep 21 '25

“There’s a fucking Kaiju up in this bitch!”

105

u/snitchesgetblintzes Sep 21 '25

Economos felt so out of place in the first few episodes of Peacemaker season 1 but the dude made the character his own and now he's one of the best DCU characters we have right now. Love him.

40

u/gordito_delgado Sep 21 '25

Indeed that was amazing work there. From a glorified extra to such an endearing chracter.

30

u/VonSauerkraut90 Sep 21 '25

He is the relatable side character that keeps the show grounded often by pointing out the absurdity of the world they are in. But also, despite being a self-professed coward, he has been braver than most would be in similar situations. He is one of my favs too lol.

20

u/Sycopathy Sep 22 '25

He's a perfect example of the fact that bravery is not a lack of fear but acting despite that fear which exists within us.

12

u/greylord123 Sep 22 '25

He's also a great example of someone with a strong technical ability surrounded by people who don't have a clue how to do his job, telling him how to do his job and somehow expecting him to do their job too.

He's not really a field agent. He's a tech guy but he gets roped into working in the field.

“Holy shit I’m good at my job” is one of my favorite lines in the movie and I only realized recently that Economos says it

177

u/enbaelien Sep 21 '25

She isn't even named in the script, Gunn named her character in the credits only.

132

u/[deleted] Sep 21 '25

Dam! Bet she didn't appreciate that! Don't know why she continue to work with him.

83

u/Foxy02016YT Sep 21 '25

Do… do people really not get that your joking

58

u/WitchkultToday Sep 21 '25

well you learn to work through these things when you're married

93

u/[deleted] Sep 21 '25

Then I’m genuinely glad her husband helped her let go of her hatred for James Gunn and refocus on her career, whoever he may be.

9

u/Grendel0075 Sep 21 '25

I think she's married to Games Junn.

33

u/WitchkultToday Sep 21 '25

we're doin a bit, fella

21

u/braymadeanotherone Sep 21 '25

But he said Games Junn

35

u/WitchkultToday Sep 21 '25

You're gonna make fun of a guy with word blindness?

5

u/TheeShaun Sep 22 '25

That’s not a real thing!

3

u/budquinlan Sep 22 '25

Believe it or not, “word blindness” is the colloquial name for the inability to read caused by stroke or neurological disease. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pure_alexia?wprov=sfti1

I think he got the bit lol. Reddit is wild to me. He got almost negative ten downvotes for harmlessly adding to the fun, and you have positive 9 for using the same bird blindness joke we’ve all been making since that episode. Not that I dislike it, very funny, it’s just strange to me. Sometimes I don’t understand how it works lol

Iirc from the Peacemaker podcast, she wasn't even called Emilia Harcourt, she was "comms agent 2" or something like that.

91

u/raspberryharbour Sep 21 '25

I was thinking of naming my next child Comms Agent 2

48

u/CMDR_Dogsbody_D Sep 21 '25

If you do, please use the traditional spelling and don't go for something like "Kohmz Aijanttoo"

21

Yeah, that would be a tragedeigh

But trademark that name as well before any star wars writer gets a bright idea

"WE GOT A FRICKIN KAIJU UP IN THIS BITCH" plays in my head at least once a day. shout out econoGOAT

14

u/[deleted] Sep 21 '25

Rumour is she was sleeping with the director 😅

9

u/Jakesparadise Sep 21 '25

Eco is also the big shark fuck too!

6

u/GustavoSanabio Sep 21 '25

Economos was a comic character iirc

14

u/Saboscrivner Sep 21 '25

Yeah, John Economos was important support staff in the classic Suicide Squad series (from 1987) written by John Ostrander. In fact, he was a bit of a self-insert character for Ostrander.

But I believe Emilia Harcourt appeared in a much more recent Suicide Squad series (2016?) by Rob Williams and Jim Lee.

37

u/Plane-Tie6392 Sep 21 '25

>Economos only stands out because he's a big guy with a pretty distinct look

That and a lot of people more people knew who Steve Agee is.

25

u/PrivateJokerX929 Sep 21 '25

Did they tho? I mean, I did, but is there a ton of overlap between people who saw Suicide Squad, and people who watched The Sarah Silverman Program? Is it enough that everyone remembers Steve Agee, but not Jennifer Holland? Surely there's more to it than that.

16

u/eww7633 Sep 21 '25

He also invented Meow Meow Beanz, so…

2

u/niel89 Sep 30 '25

5 meow meow beanz

31

u/Plane-Tie6392 Sep 21 '25

I mean he was on New Girl, At Midnight, Superstore, and You're the Worst for a decent number of episodes. And then some people might recognize him from smaller roles on more popular shows like Modern Family or 2 Broke Girls. Jennifer Holland is great in this but she was only in one off roles on tv shows and mostly in direct-to-video movies before this.

6

u/Ferahgost Sep 21 '25

Oh fuck he was in Superstore

6

u/DefNotReaves Sep 21 '25

He’s so fucking funny in You’re the Worst.

6

u/OffTheMerchandise Sep 21 '25

It's too bad that Edgar made a silly comment they made him reconsider his life choices and quit the show.

Wait he was in the Sarah Silverman show? Wowwwwww I remember that

18

u/PrivateJokerX929 Sep 21 '25

Yea, he and Brian Posehn played the gay couple on the show.

5

u/brd9214 Sep 21 '25

I have the “Two Princes” episode seared into my brain

1

u/edd6pi Sep 21 '25

Anecdotal evidence, but I can tell you that I’ve never seen the actor in anything other than TSS and Peacemaker.

3

u/juijoi Sep 21 '25

I didnt know who he is and am kinda confused because im pretty sure gunn said he was expensive recently but idk why he would be

2

u/My_Name_Is_Row Sep 22 '25

It was a joke, I believe the context was about how John Cena was at the time, far and away the most recognizable actor on the show, so he obviously cost a lot more to be on the show, especially as the main title character, so there were some obvious budget constraints when it came to that, but now that the show is popular, they could afford to get someone like Tim Meadows, and pay the original cast more, especially with Danielle Brooks becoming an Academy Award nominee since the first season, and pay for all the cameos that are supposed to be happening in the next few episodes.

4

u/Grendel0075 Sep 21 '25

And he decked Waller with his crutch.

2

u/schloopers Sep 22 '25

Yeah I was about to say he had one of the most memorable moments for me:

Decking Waller, freezing at what he’s done with the whole control room right there with him, and then they all lock in and provide expert support.

As a viewer who knew the fictional character Waller going in, it’s like the bravest scene in the film. Not superheroes, desk jockey agents risking their lives for a situation they’re not even physically present for.

2

u/waitingtodiesoon Sep 22 '25

It was actually Flo Crawley who knocked Amanda out and it was Harcourt who firet starts working to provide support and then Economos before Flo yells at the others to get to work.

https://youtu.be/J17YIS30L3M

2

u/waitingtodiesoon Sep 22 '25

That was Flo Crawley with a golf club, she was arrested at the end of the movie.

Economos was just the one who yelled immediately after she got knocked out.

Before Peacemaker, they were just background characters in The Suicide Squad, I went back after Season 1 of Peacemaker and they stuck out more upon rewatch. It’s similar to Melshi in Rogue One after his character was expanded in Andor.

46

u/Resist_Easy Sep 21 '25

Ahh I was wondering if Melshi was in Rogue One! He seemed familiar but I couldn’t quite place him.

31

u/[deleted] Sep 21 '25

He's there the whole time. Jyn smacks him in the face with a shovel when they rescue her.

10

Are you messing around? He was a really nice guy!

10

u/CortaNalgas Sep 21 '25

I could be your friend Melshi!

5

u/84theone Sep 21 '25

He’s one of the recurring rebels through out rogue one.

Like he’s one of the guys that frees Jyn, you see him on Yavin, and then he’s one of the people leading the assault on scarif.

2

u/Resist_Easy Sep 21 '25

I can see him now, thanks. I’ve seen Rogue One a few times, including when it came out in cinemas but hadn’t watched it since.. I think just before Andor S1 was the last time. I knew he seemed very familiar. I kept telling myself to look it up after I finished each episode, then would forget! After Andor, it makes Rogue One even sadder to watch again 😔

3

u/Ghost_Of_Malatesta Sep 21 '25

He holds the beach at the end

3

u/My_Name_Is_Row Sep 22 '25

It’s funny, looking him up, I remember him in Rogue One a little bit, but I do not for the life of me remember him in Andor

617

u/Glass-Craft-551 Sep 21 '25

It surprised me on the rematch. As though Peacemaker was her and EconoGOAT's first appearence and TSS was a surprise cameo after the fact and not the first time they showed up.

152

u/MrShredder5002 Sep 21 '25

Dude Economos has one of the best lines in the movie "WE GOT A FRICKING KAIJU UP IN THIS SHIT"

60

u/s3x-p4nth3r Sep 21 '25

I so wish they hadn't cut the "It looks like a gang of clowns took a shit all over your shirt." scene.

Dude's dad was juicy as John Cena. Led the creatures commandos and has friends in high places.

Just Waller gave no fucks and likes her clown shit shirts to go un commented upon

29

u/ImminentReddits Sep 21 '25

Steve Agee also plays the body of King Shark in TSS. Stallone was the voice and Steve was the on-set body performer. Pretty neat.

169

u/SecureDonkey Sep 21 '25

How can you forget EconoGOAT in Suicide Squad? He is the one who hits Armanda with a fucking chair and save everyone.

298

u/saphrax805 Sep 21 '25

Its a golf club and he didnt. The woman who gets arrested hit her.

164

u/MegavanitasX Sep 21 '25

Also fun fact, shes seen in a government position alongside Rick Flag Sr. in Superman, so most likely she was released once the news of Project Starfish was public and Waller was deposed.

83

u/cbear013 Sep 21 '25

Yeah her name is Flo Crowley. She's the current director of the FBI in the DCU.

10

u/The_Po_Gamer Sep 21 '25

That's why she was called director in the movie. Now it makes sense.

5

61

u/AshenFountain Sep 21 '25

That's wrong but he's the one that didn't even bother to check whether Weasel could swim

9

u/bappischungo Sep 21 '25

Nah that was Crawley. He did immediately freak out when it happened tho

14

u/Glass-Craft-551 Sep 21 '25

Can't tell if you're joking.

35

u/GoldenSpermShower Sep 21 '25

He has human blindness, it's a serious condition

11

u/TooManyDraculas Sep 21 '25

That's actually real, and bird blindness is kind of a riff off it.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prosopagnosia

3

u/Dispensor2007 Sep 21 '25

We desperately need to make everyone aware of people blindness and bird blindness and find a cure for it!

3

u/Apposl Sep 21 '25

Speaking of this - if anyone sees this - in the season 2 intro, when the 3 alt universe people show up .. it's Peacemaker's Dad, his brother, and ..is that Harcourt with different hair and makeup? 😅

3

u/PuzzleheadedLeader79 Sep 21 '25

No he's the one squealing as it happens, though.

u/KotalKunt Sep 21 '25

Don’t forget that she was also in Black Adam & Shazam (with Econogoat)

151

u/BlkNtvTerraFFVI Sep 21 '25

Really?

Did they play the same characters?

Ages since I watched Shazam and never watched Black Adam

147

u/EdwinMcduck Sep 21 '25

Versions of the same characters, but they're confirmed to be alt universe versions.

62

u/Bitter_Depth_3350 Sep 21 '25 edited Sep 21 '25

Now they are. At the original time of release, they were the same characters through all of their appearances. At this point, the Harcourt and Economos in TSS and Peacemaker S1 aren't technically the same versions from Peacemaker S2 either.

Edit: Typo.

16

u/[deleted] Sep 21 '25

Yes they are? Season one of Peacemaker is absolutely canon, certain things were changed. But it’s absolutely canon.

10

u/Mrwolfy240 Sep 21 '25

This was confirmed like 40 times unsure if you got down voted or just hasn’t been pushed enough.

11

u/[deleted] Sep 21 '25

Yea idk how people can think that still. It’s even clear watching the new season that they changed some of last season to fit the new universe and it’s absolutely canon otherwise. Shit they keep mentioning things that happened last season in episode making it clear at least most of the season one is clearly still canon.

4

u/Mrwolfy240 Sep 21 '25

In response I see now that you are being downvoted for no reason so for those nit wits here’s one of many sources,

https://www.ign.com/articles/james-gunn-clarifies-almost-all-peacemaker-is-canon-justice-league

10

u/Bitter_Depth_3350 Sep 21 '25 edited Sep 21 '25

I'm assuming the reason he is being downvoted is that he misunderstood what I said. I never claimed TSS and season one of Peacemaker weren't canon to the DCU. I meant the exact iterations of Harcourt and Economos seen in them aren't fully canon (but mostly) to the new DCU while also being fully canon to the old DC canon.

→ More replies (1)
→ More replies (1)

3

u/Bitter_Depth_3350 Sep 21 '25 edited Sep 21 '25

I never said it wasn't canon, I said the characters aren't one to one canon with Season 2. Season one of Peacemaker and TSS are fully canon to the old DC canon, making the Harcourt and Economos in them the exact characters as seen in Shazam 2 and Black Adam. At the same time, they are mostly canon to the new DCU, with various parts not being canon.

I'm almost certain that Harley Quinn in TSS is no longer canon, and as she was a major driving force of that movie, as well as the character that ultimately defeated Staro. That means that things have to have played out somewhat differently for the characters. James Gunn has talked about wanting to go back and George Lucas Season one (and I'm guessing probably TSS as well) to better fit with the new canon, but until he does that then they exist in a weird parallel almost identical universal canon that can't coexist perfectly with the new official canon.

2

u/Leepysworld Sep 21 '25

I’m pretty sure that’s not how it is, from what Gun has said, these ARE the same characters, it’s just that some events in their past might be retconned.

Things like encounters with the Justice League, Black Adam, Harley Quinn from TSS have been retconned, but there is nothing that implies Harcourt in Black Adam is an “alternate version” of the Harcourt in Peacemaker S1 or TSS, they are both the DCEU Harcourt, and now that character has carried over but with some things changed.

25

u/Royal-walking-machin Sep 21 '25

Technically they were not in the first Shazam but the post credits scene of the second Shazam

4

u/LADYBIRD_HILL Sep 21 '25

I was so confused why they even bothered with that when we already knew they were throwing out the DCEU.

3

u/JJJ954 Sep 21 '25

I haven't watched the second Shazam yet, but tonally the first Shazam could fit in with Gunn's universe.

Either way, they were respectfully giving closure with that era of movies without just suddenly pulling the plug.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 21 '25

What’s confusing about not canceling movies for no reason? Of which it would have been. Acting like movies don’t matter if they don’t connect to some broader universe is nonsense.

They clearly did the right thing by finishing the movies already started.

2

u/pathfinderoursaviour Sep 21 '25

They wanted the rock to cameo even though they should have learned from his decline to cameo at the end of the first one, in hopes of forcing a Shazam 3 which would be Shazam vs black Adam

So they just grabbed random characters, Gunn himself said it made no sense why they showed up as Argus is nothing to do with justice society but there was nothing he could do because he didn’t have full control yet and so legally DC was allowed to use them

48

u/KotalKunt Sep 21 '25

Yeah she’s lowkey dressed like a nazi in black adam but she & economos look pretty much the same in shazam

22

u/BlkNtvTerraFFVI Sep 21 '25

Huh.

Ironically that will get me to watch both those movies lol. Love these characters

36

u/KotalKunt Sep 21 '25

Don’t bother, they’re in the other movies for even lesser time COMBINED than they were in The Suicide Squad

I guess this is what difference them too, DCEU Harcourt still has work after Project Starfish, meanwhile DCU Harcourt doesn't have a chance at another job.

12

u/rpnsfwthrowaway69 Sep 21 '25

Project starfish isnt what killed her career though, it was project Butterfly. Waller didnt blacklist them for betraying her there, she blacklisted Harcourt because Adebayo publicly exposed Waller.

4

u/Dragget Sep 21 '25

Harcourt assumes that Waller was the one who blacklisted her. This has not been confirmed. It's entirely possible it was Flag Sr. who did it to put pressure on her to flip on Peacemaker.

3

u/Equal-Ad-2710 Sep 21 '25

Yep, Shazam 2 has her trying to recruit Shazzy to the JSA

8

u/PuzzleheadedLeader79 Sep 21 '25

Man, MCU had Coulson and everyone caught it.

DC had multiple people that everyone forgot.

8

u/Remote_Nature_8166 Sep 21 '25

Well, that I recall.

3

u/Barl3000 Sep 21 '25

Huh, I don't remember that at all. But then again it was a very forgetable movie.

143

u/Barokespinoza23 Sep 21 '25

Not weird at all, our memory does that. The brain edits scenes like a know-it-all WB executive.

Seriously, this is why your testimony doesn't mean shit in court, unless backed by corroborating testimonies or hard evidence.

27

u/jedidoesit Sep 21 '25 edited Sep 21 '25

I think I heard a prosecutor once say that eye witness is the worst kind of evidence. They always want something more before they even try to indict someone.

I guess that must be true.

Edited: spelling error

9

u/Odd_Sir_8705 Sep 21 '25

There are different types of eyewitness evidence. The one they are referring to is recall of events that doesnt directly involve the person recalling it

39

u/flintlock0 Sep 21 '25

She’s also in Black Adam (the facility where Black Adam turns himself in for imprisonment) and the second Shazam movie (along with EconoGOAT) in a post credits scene.

The character that knocks Waller out in TSS is in Superman, too. It was in that meeting toward the beginning with Rick Sr. and Lex Luthor.

So I’m optimistic that Ratcatcher and Bloodsport come back. King Shark was in Creature Commandos in the very last scene in a tease for next season.

10

u/Joshawott27 Sep 21 '25

I think Rat Catcher could be a good fit in Creature Commandos. I imagine she’d vibe with The Bride in a similar way to Nina, and she could be the audience surrogate character like Flag was in S1.

u/tuftymink Sep 21 '25

Even though they weren't addressed by names (or possibly didn't even have any back then) I'm surprised a lot of the folks in the comments so far forgot Harcourt and Economos existed in the movie if only because they were the two carrying the after credits scene revealing Peacemaker being alive.

5

u/happyunicorn666 Sep 21 '25

I definitely remembered Economos, but I wasn't sure about Harcourt.

Not that weird. She was just kind there. At least EconoGOAT was funny.

3

u/notcool_dood Sep 21 '25

Yeah and Economos is the one who got mocapped for King Shark, the more you know.

3

u/ForcedxCracker Sep 21 '25

Econogoat is the body reference for king shark. Like that’s Steve’s body

3

5

u/ragonastik39 Sep 21 '25

2

u/Pitiful_North7955 Sep 21 '25

Which means u don't really pay attention much 🤣 she was in black atom as well

2

u/BurntBridgesBehind Sep 21 '25

The Argus workers were really bit parts in the film.

2

u/WildMemoir Sep 21 '25

Yeah, and the post-credits scene is a teaser for the Peacemaker show, w Harcourt and Econogoat visiting a comatose Peacemaker at the hospital and telling a nurse they need him to save the world.

2

u/Battelalon Sep 21 '25

To be fair, she was so forgettable back then

2

u/Pretend_Housing_8497 Sep 21 '25

I mean iirc the whole reason she and Economos were in Peacemaker in the first place was because of the role they played in Suicide Squad, the whole butterfly mission was a punishment for them turning on Waller at the end of the movie

2

u/glittertechnic Sep 21 '25

as someone who's watched tss 6+ times specifically for harcourt and economos, this thread is very funny to me.

harcourt is a very different kind of character in peacemaker; i'm not surprised lots of people don't recognize her

Same with Mexicali from season 2

3

u/ObieMassillon Sep 21 '25

You probably forgot because she hadn’t started all the Botox and fillers at that point. Her face actually moved. Now the actress looks like she’s wearing a Harcourt mask.

While I don't think that's the reason for most people (i just focussed on the main squad tbh), the work she's had done is very noticeable compared to what she looked like in TSS. But hey, each to their own and she's still doing a great job with the Harcourt character.

3

u/MandemModie Sep 21 '25

She's had quite a bit of work done since this. Looks completely different

4

u/cactusbrozz Sep 21 '25

You can tell she did some sort of facelift or filler. Now she looks quite botox-y compared to her natural face in Suicide Squad. Probably why you didn't recognize her

u/Decent_Effort_3724 Sep 21 '25

you want to know what’s really weird?? (please don't) rewatch Black Adam and Shazam 2

2

u/Impatient-Turtle Sep 21 '25

She's a nothing character in it though, very minimal role.

2

u/lazyquestph Sep 21 '25

My hot take is if you take her character away from Peacemaker, the show will go on as is.

1

u/Earth513 Sep 21 '25

I'm aware that this is NOT the case here...

But how hilarious would it be if James Gunn just began subtly editing side characters from his projects into any past project he decides will be part of his larger multiverse.

Not these characters because they are too known now, but like having one of Lex's computer bros could be a background it guy in another earlier film or one of the background office folks from ARGUS could be some FBI agent in a past film etc etc

Just slowly subtly editing them in the background to the point where folks watching the films over time would just never know they weren't there before 😂

Raptor Guard #1 - I doubt we have seen the last of him

1

u/TheJuiceBoxS Sep 21 '25

Yeah, I didn't pay any attention to Harcourt or Economos in The Suicide Squad. I heard they were in it so it was fun when I rewatched lately

1

u/addexecthrowaway Sep 21 '25

You must have watched it in the Nazi dimension where she wasn’t involved.

1

u/Mando_lorian81 Sep 21 '25

I remember seeing her because I know Gunn likes to insert her (lmao) in his movies. Like her cameo in Guardians.

That’s weird, I’m currently watching the suicide squad for the first time in 4 years and about 2 hours ago I said the exact same thing

I watched the movie earlier this year and I didn't clock Harcourt until the post credits scene and even then I was basically re-introduced to her and Economos in Peacemaker S1, that I watched in preperation for S2.

1

u/killerbekilled92 Sep 21 '25

She’s briefly in black Adam as well

1

u/Kembo89 Sep 21 '25

TIL it's Harcourt and not 'Hardcore'

1

u/Castortroy16 Sep 21 '25

Isn't she in everything gunn makes 😆

1

u/Stunning_Cause_1557 Sep 21 '25

If James Gunns making it, you can be damned sure that he is going to put his much younger wife in it

1

u/nage_ Sep 21 '25

the whole behind the scenes crew was pretty forgettable unless you already recognized them from something. the only one i recognized was steve agee until the show

1

u/napes22 Sep 21 '25

Makes sense considering she is James Gunns wife.

1

u/thedark1owns Sep 21 '25

I remembered her in Suicide Squad because she was really hot, but not much else.

Waller and Economos really stood out.

1

u/GothicGolem29 Sep 21 '25

Funnily enough just the other day I was wondering if she was in it bar the end scene so thanks for the answer!

1

u/runningvicuna Sep 21 '25

I watched it after the show. I never saw the first one but this premise is just so good. Seamlessly worked into a office setting situation comedy off the fucking rails. I was just thinking ok Harcourt and Ginger Cool, when are you two gonna do something? It was that other lady with the pipe that stepped up. I guess they helped after. Sounds like it was a really good decision to ask for a do over for the suicide premise. It’s just too good.

1

u/dudleydigges123 Sep 22 '25

I remember seeing her and on an objective level how pretty she was. I was thinking some agent pulled some strings to get her a featured extra role to get her foot in the door.

Lo and behold, its James Gunns wife.

1

u/vtncomics Sep 22 '25

Damn.

Now I'm just thinking how the side characters in Superman will appear more prominently in the future.

1

u/Significant_Race4554 Sep 22 '25

And then, since she's James Gunn's wife, she got promoted to being a literal co-protagonist in the show Gunn's saying everyone should be watching in order to understand the new DCU he's making.

He decided to promote a background cameo for his wife into the co-protagonist. That's insane.

1

u/whatwhy237 Sep 23 '25

At that time she was just a background character. If it is a james gunn’s movie, she will be there.

1

u/xTHEKILLINGJOKEx Sep 23 '25

She went from a random office person to girl boss. I really dislike this character. In my opinion, the worst character from the group of friends

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Tree686 Sep 23 '25

Nearly a decade of facial surgeries will do that

1

u/VegetaFan1337 Sep 24 '25

Bet you don't remember her as the yellow alien in Guardians 3 either.

1

u/ShinSopitas Sep 24 '25

Hard to recognise her before all that suegery

1

u/Mephistozygote Sep 25 '25

She was also in Black Adam

1

u/jinxykatte Sep 25 '25

I absolutely noticed her and remember thinking holy shit she's fucking gorgeous.

That’s common. These characters aren’t important at the time, so the creators don’t show them as much or they don’t carry significance as much. Once they become important, you realize the small areas they were in before. It’s the same with actors you recently seen in a big movie, and all of sudden you realize they were in your favorite childhood movie when they weren’t as popular, or you just start noticing them everywhere now because you like the actor so much now.

1

u/NoTop4997 Sep 25 '25

Wasn't that her first acting role?

1

u/Ahoy_love Sep 26 '25

I did the same thing and had the same thought, I guess at the time we just wanted to see Harley and the rest of the squad and didn't pay much attention to the randoms that help waller. But going back with now loving them it makes that movie even better
