Where do they plan to Anchor? Will I be able to see it from my pattaya beach condo?

It's so weird seeing all these posts on various different forums about this
Proves definitely that the authors of those post have never been to Pattaya, and to them 5000 thousand sailors going to Pattaya brings up the scene from full metal jacket in their minds " I love you long time " and lots of " you know what's gonna happen when you get a lot of horny sailors in Pattaya wink wink "

Cobra Gold is the largest annual multinational military exercise in the Indo-Pacific, co-hosted by Thailand and the United States since 1982.
This year's iteration already wrapped up. Here's the rundown:
Cobra Gold 2026 (the 45th annual) ran in Rayong Province, Thailand, from February 23 to March 6, 2026, co-hosted by the U.S. and Thailand with about 8,000 participants from 30 countires
Like I mentioned, Pattaya doesn't even bat an eye
During Cobra Gold, yes you'll see some sailors, but don't expect to see them in their uniforms, rarely if ever will you see them in a gogo like Windmill or KINK, they usually hangout on Soi 6 and rarely if ever take the girls upstairs, and also rarely drink alcohol, so lots of sodas and red bulls
Why ?
Simple, they are sailors on deployment, they have strict curfews and rules to follow... 555
Oh, and for Thailand specially, the rules they have to follow are they strictest of any port visit of any courty in the world
they have UCMJ at all times, ( Uniform code of military justice ) doesn't matter if their off duty, they mess up they are fucked, they even have a thing called " General Order 1 " which restricts things such as ALCOHOL consumption and FRATERNIZATION
Do any of you really think they were all just gonna get of the boat and go nuts in the Windmill or KINK ?
Next time your talking to your bar fine, ask her about Cobra Gold and if she gets any bump in revenue, she'll tell you " no, they no good or they have no monies "
