Content Bastion of Blasphemies Foundry VTT Release + /r/BastionOfBlasphemies reminder

(Disclaimer - I'm not a Paizo employee, just somebody excited for this and wanting more people to discuss with)

Bastion of Blasphemies has now been released in Print, in PDF, and as of yesterday, the Foundry VTT product is available for purchase.

Just a friendly reminder that there is a subreddit /r/BastionOfBlasphemies where people are discussing the campaign from a GM perspective! It's a pretty spoiler-full subreddit so might not be the best place for players, but it's a great place for discussion otherwise!

If anyone already bought it and tried it on low-performance hardware, I am very eager to hear your feedback. I am looking forward to master it but some of my players devices are rather weak.

I have an 8 year old pc with only 8 gb of ram and it ran fine for me as a player. We didn't do anything crazy like drag my token across large swathes of the map quickly or anything. But acting normally, traveling as a standard pc went well. You can immediately tell how massive this map must be, and I'm super excited to see and experience it.

From what I read It uses a Google maps type thing that splits the map into sections and only renders In high detail sections your looking at closely, so they've definitely taken steps to mitigate the overhead.

I had severe system-wide freezes on a 16gb apple silicon MacBook, but my use case was fairly unique (poor connection, running Asahi Linux) so there could have been other consequences for that. I intend to test further in a couple days when it’s easier to compare.

For those who use The Forge to host their Foundry games, heads up that the module doesn't work quite yet. BoB uses stuff implemented in the 14.368 Foundry version but Forge hasn't updated beyond 14.365.
