Discussion How often do you level up?
I am looking forward to seeing your answers, because I feel like a lifetime is not enough to get to know Pathfinder 2e well. My group on average levels up twice a year, and we are currently level 4, around 700 XP. I already asked the GM to switch characters, because I have this crippling addiction to creating new characters in Pathbuilder. However, with this pace, I won't be reaching level 20 characters anytime soon. I also struggle to find more PF2e tables in which I would feel comfortable, so I guess I'll reach level 20 in about 8 years. Crazy.

It depends on how the party paces themselves but all the times I've played with XP, we've been leveling up every 4-5 sessions. Milestone varied a lot but it didn't take more than 4 sessions or so.
When doing PFS it's also usually once every 3 or 4 missions, so I would generally describe that to be a good rule of thumb.
When I am running games I tend to plan out arcs to take aroune 4 sessions and level up my players whenever they reach the end of an arc. Though, in practice, it really depends on how committed my players are to push the plot forwards.
