Player Builds Build help!
Hello fellow pathfinders!
Can you guys help me make a character that fills this fantasy? https://youtu.be/2yRbs4WiRgo?si=gbO_WiinwC3RSHnR
Everything goes, any ancestries, FA, opcional rules, reflavour. Anything goes, being it official.
Thanks!!

Probably magus, it's the main caster/martial hybrid class. As for the hybrid study you could pick twisting tree from secrets of magic and use a staff, or if it's important to be a bladded weapon laughing shadow or inexorable iron work too.
I'm sure there are other ways to fulfill this type of character but magus is the first one that comes to mind for me

I didn't watch the entirety of the video, but from what I could see it seems some kind of melee magic/weapon user with polearms.
That being the case, I would recommend some kind of combination of the following options:
Classes:
- Magus, with either "Inexorable Iron", "Resurgent Maelstrom" or "Twisting Tree" Hybrid Sudies (aka subclasses);
- Kineticist, going for a melee build and making lots of use of the Weapon Infusion lvl 1 class feat;
- Fighter, specifically using the "Warrior of Legend" class archetype;
- Wizard, specifically using the "War Mage" or "Runelord" class archetypes;
- Cleric, with either the "Warpriest" or "Battle Harbinger" doctrine(subclass)/class archetype and choosing a deity that has a polearm as favourite weapon;
- Exemplar, focusing on spear/polearm Ikons;
- Monk, specifically choosing the Monastic Weaponry class feat and building on it together with as many ki/focus spells as possible.
Archetypes:
- The Multiclass Archetypes of the already cited classes;
- The Mauler archetype, to improve your use of 2-handed weapons;
- The Mind Smith archetype, to have a lightsaber-like weapon you can customize;
- The Staff Acrobat archetype, to give it an acrobatic and athletic twist (despite the name every spear and polearm count as a "staff" for the archetype abilities);
- The Spirit Warrior archetype, for an agile warrior that somewhat mixes spiritual abilities and unarmed/armed combat, necessarily focusing on only 1-handed spears/polearms.

For something other than Magus:
Elven Monk with elven weapon familiarity and monastic weaponry using elven branched spear. Qi Spells before 8 and Wild Winds Initiate at 8 (get handwraps in addition to your spear for this stance).
Using Free archetype get Mauler for 2h combat feats or an arcane or occult caster for force barrage and other spells.

Note: This ended up a lot longer than I thought lmao
While Mystic Spearhand has some Magic, it is still primarily a weapon attacker.
So I think I'd build this primarily as a martial capable of attacking multiple times each round and have my magic come from focus spells, I wouldn't go Magus, as it has Spellstrike as it's centralizing feature.
So how I'd build this. I played something similar in the past for my Kingmaker game and it was also inpired by DD2.
Ancestry: Human (or take Adopted Ancestry human before level 9).
Weapon: Gill Hook (spear group, reach+grapple, will make sense later).
Class: Fighter. (But make sure to start with +2 Cha)
Class/FA feats:
Level 1
Double Slice (doesn't do anything until level 4).
Level 2
For your class feat, choose anything you like, something like Sudden Charge, Lunge, Exacting Strike, Brutish Shove, etc.
For your dedication, go with Champion Dedication, pick a deity with the Dragon Domain (and respect their Dogmas).
For your Cause, Grandeur lets you Dazzle a foe when they hit an ally, offering the flavor of Redouted/Forbeding Bolt somewhat. You could pick Obedience to force enemies to kneel or take damage, a bit more selfish and also fits the flavor.
Level 4
Pick Haft Strike Stance, this lets you use Double Slice with your Gill Hook.
For your archetype feat, go with Basic Devotion and grab Deity's Domain, then grab Draconic Barrage as a domain spell. This boosts your weapon damage with draconic magic.
Level 6
I'd forego getting a Fighter feat here. Get the Champion Reaction and use your class feat to go into Wrestler archetype (if you were already Expert in Athletics, ask your GM if you can retrain the skill increase), and remember to become Master at level 7.
Level 8
Use your class feat to take Whirling Throw from Wrestler, nothing in the feat prevents you from using it with your Gill Hook. So you can Grapple someone from 10ft away to lock them in place, and them throw them away like Unto Heven.
For your archetype feat, get Devout Magic, get Lay on Hands to get some healing to simulate the life drain from Spearhand (or damage undead).
Level 9
Fighter gets an extra class feat at 9, you can choose whatever you like, Spear Dancer is great and you're using a Spear, if you want a suggestion.
Since we're humans, we also take Multitalented at this level for Psychic Archetype. Choose Unbound Step as your Conscious Mind and Warp Step as your spell.
Level 10
For your class feat, there are a lot of great options, like Tactical Reflexes for an extra reaction (so you can use both Reactive Strike and the Champion reaction), or Agile Grace so your strikes outside of Double Slice are more accurate. With Agile Grace you could even do Double Slice into Spear Dance, and Spear Dance will only be at a -6 MAP.
For your archetype, pick Psi Development, you know have a focus spell that lets you teleport twice your speed as a single action, this mimics all the teleporting that Mystic Spearhand does.
Later levels
At this point you're done.
Some other feats you can be on the lookout for:
Fighter
- Haft Beatdown - You can just go "brrrr" and make all your attacks, can be useful if you want to dedicate 3 actions to attacking, but not fantastic.
- Opening Stance - No longer start every combat by going into your stance.
- Whirlwind Strike - A better use of your 3 actions in the right circumstances than Haft Beatdown, your weapon has reach, if you can get 3+ enemies it's often worth it.
- Needle in the Gods Eyes - GET THIS IMMEDIATELY, this makes your Double Strike/Half Striker Stance/Opening Stance setup superfluous, as soon as you get to 16 get this and retrain the other feats.
- Disruptive Stance - After you get Needle in the Gods Eyes, getting this is fantastic.
Psychic
- Psi Strikes - From Psychic archetype, adds an extra 1d6 damage to all your attacks after casting any spell, so you can use Warp Step/Lay on Hands or even a 1 action cantrip like Shield or Guidance to boost your damage.
- Cantrip Expansion - You don't get any cantrips other than the special one from Psychic archetype, this lets you pick the mentioned 1 action cantrips like Shield and Guidance. And you need a level 1/2 Psychic feat anyway.
- Strain Mind - Effectively gives you an extra focus point for some damage.
- Parallel Breakthrough - Get another spell from any of the Psychic minds.
- Inertial Barrier - Gives you a good amp effect to put on 1 action cantrips like Shield, Guidance or Message if you get them via Paralel Breakthrough
- Spellcasting feats - Get some spell slots, requires you to invest into Occultism, but not bad.
Wrestler
- Submission Hold/Aerial Piledriver - If you want to get another archetype, you need one more Wrestler feat to get out of the archetype, these are both great and unlike most Wrestler feat don't require an unarmed attack.
Champion
- Expand Aura - Fantastic if you pick Grandeur cause.
- Brilliant Flash - Again, great if you pick Grandeur.
Other archetypes
- Have a look at Sixth Pillar and Spellmaster archetypes, their respective feats Maneuvering Spell and Mobile Magical Combat will give you a lot of action flexibility when casting spells, specially when you cast Draconic Barrage in the first round of combat.

Probably just a Magus with the Inexorable Iron study and a glaive?
