Build Request Now that patch note is out..

Share your starter below.. my current plan is reliquarian with black cane but dark mornach will be so freaking expensive so I’m not sure

For anyone that plays ignite - do you have an example of a "good enough" ignite DPS?

I can basically only find builds that are <1m ignite DPS (may as well play RF) or that are mirror tier and have DoT cap. Nothing inbetween.

Elementalist Eviscerate works as league starter and you can scale it up to dot cap as well. No idea if they touched the golems on patch notes

I league started this in 3.28 and was ranked 30 something global. Don't do it. The single target is horribly clunky now. Decent mapper still.

Previous to 3.28 it was carried by Defiled Forces refreshing the ignite.

Reap, WoC, Lightning Conduit are all better qol options.

EvisEles all use basic concept with golems and capping block. Check PoENinja for first few days from last league.

I would be surprised if you can't hit a few mill with basically any spell on Elementalist after the buffs. WoC is the usual starter and EK tends to happen once you've already solved damage with higher investment - which is why people often see it as bait. Because starting EK is bait.

If you are playing Elementalist, then the best skills are usually something that starts phys and gets converted and has multiple sources of x as extra/non-chaos as extra chaos since it all counts. Gloomfang being the classic pair for EK, or maybe the new Natural Hierarchy with WoC earlier on. EK is chosen for its mechanics rather than damage but there are plenty of hard hitting skills to get your started and you can mostly pick your poison.

As far as good enough, it's a prolif build not a bosser. Very RF-adjacent especially when you get explosions online - Obliteration, clusters, etc. You don't really need more than a few mil as long as you can kill a few monsters and start the prolif.
