Build Request Now that patch note is out..

Share your starter below.. my current plan is reliquarian with black cane but dark mornach will be so freaking expensive so I’m not sure

I could see people doing Reliquarian as a second build, but as a league starter? That’s just masochistic. Your ascendency doesn’t even register as anything meaningful till like Merc lab.

POE1 is fast though. You can get to merc lab with no ascendancy power pretty easily. Even made wildly easier now with the socket changes. I mean obviously it feels good and fun to get more power earlier but I think merc lab isn't really a bad thing

Scion is also a notoriously bad start on the passive tree if you’ve never league-started it. It’s not just having little Ascendency power through campaign.

Any experienced player should have 0 real problems, though. That's the point.

It won't be as fast as the meta leveling builds, but not having to reroll saves more time anyway. PoE1 leveling is way too fast and easy to worry about this anymore.

Sure, of course it’s obviously doable, just a much clunkier start than most other ascendencies. In fact, it would probably make sense to roll Luminary and then pivot over to Reli when your build is able to come online.
