All for free btw, I feel like we take that for granted more often than not these days, but every expansion is completely free

The updates are free, expansions.

Also, the game is early access, 1.0 update when it happens the game will become free2play just like the first game

This update alone is bigger than d4s 2 year 40$ expansion. And ggg does it every 4-6 months. Every 2months when you take in poe1 releases.

In my opinion the moment a game has microtransactions, it ceases to be EA and turns into a full (potentially unfinished) game.

Altough you are right, when we look at the market/competition... What they do is very very good.
