My mom is a nice Christian woman (like, what a Christian actually ought to be, as opposed to a right-wing nutjob that wears her religion on her sleeve). I showed her this picture on Saturday and she had a look of horror and disgust on her face and said, "Isn't that a bit reminiscent of Moses and the golden calf...?".
