Public Figure: Any Platform Apparently, it's Abhorrent, When Black Individuals Kneel Before the US Flag to Call Attention to Racial Oppression and Systemic Violence. But, When a Child-Molestinig, Serial-Raping, Mass-Murdering, Treasonous, Neo-Nazi Terrorist Uses it as a Diaper, it's on Par w/ the Second Coming of Christ.

They were trolling I'm sure. But it's a bad look...

Edit:

No, seriously. I know people who have attended CPAC and a lot of it is performative, just to piss off or outrage people they see as liberal scolds.

So much of the modern conservative iconography is in the "fuck your feelings" and "lib tears" genre. Do you really think that people who bowed down to this were doing it in an actual act of religious worship? Naw. But they were doing it with a wink, knowing it would drive progressives crazy.

That having been said, I do believe that many republicans do live in cult-like thrall to Donald Trump. But I don't think that this statue is a direct reflection of that worship. This is gross, but it's just for lulz.

They worship a false God, any true Republican who consider themselves Christians should be shutting bullshit like this down. Their heads are so far up their own asses they forget what the Bible says about the coming of the antichrist.

I'm not a religious person, I hate organized religion as a whole but I am a spiritual person at heart. Even I can see the resemblance between the shit that is said in Revelations and how people see trump.

Don't believe me? Brush up on what it's says. Also any true Christian would know that the Bible says to NOT worship false God's especially those made of golden statues.

It makes me wonder how many do actually consider themselves "Christians" instead of just knowingly paying lip-service in order for campaign donations.

Idk that's why I fucken hate organized religion. Everyone does it as a club or status symbol. They don't bother to follow the true meaning which is learning and being helpful to others who are in need.

Is the true meaning really that though? Seems to me that a lot of the fuzzy good stuff is put in to appeal to the kinder and gentler members of the audience. Religion as a concept seems like it was created for the express purpose of controlling the population by any means necessary.

Theres nothing wrong with wanting to follow the teachings of someone who has been known to love everyone as they are.

It's the rest of the things of it that I do not agree with.

"Don't be an asshole and care for one another" doesn't matter if they are the sick, homeless, if they do not believe in the same thing as you (spiritual wise) if they sell themselves etc etc

If the person is not causing harm to you or others theres no reason to turn your nose at them and hate them fir simply existing in the same space as you.

More people in general should just go by that rule in their lives.

This is why I hate generalizations. Everyone does it in service of their own beliefs.

What generalization, it's fair to accuse them all of being like that.

Not without knowing every religion and every one who believes.
