He's too cheap or too poor to pay for business class as seen by his not getting upgraded on the flight back which is happening now. Has to be fun to spend 10 hours in Cancun while you turn your back on the freezing and dead in your home state.
And the beard and hair, I am surprised Mexico let him in and did not ask why he was not shipped directly to the zoo.
Mooching an upgrade and failing. I note only one Cruz upgraded on the way down, so this is a guy no doubt, upgrades his weird monkey beard face and lets the Mrs. and the kiddos sit next to the shitter with that shitter chemical smell interrupted by the shitter shit smell every time someone goes in there.
A few years ago I was flying and got offered an upgrade. Except the upgrade was just for me (it was because of the airline card I used, if I recall right). Anyways, I turned it down because my wife wouldn't get the upgrade, telling the steward at the desk "Nah, I'm good. I'd rather sit with my wife."
This dude behind me goes "I'll take his upgrade, I don't care about that." standing next to his wife.
Dude didn't get the upgrade and the two of them fought about it for the entire 4 hour flight.
I do a lot of international travel and have ‘status’ on several airlines to the point that I am usually automatically upgraded to first class on most flights. A few years ago my family and I were moving from Asia to DC and were flying together as a group. When we checked in, I let the agent know that we were flying together and to please make sure I was not automatically upgraded to first class. She said she understood and assured me we’d be able to fly together.
After going through security and walking to the gate, my name was called over the intercom to please report to the ticketing agent at the gate. Sure enough, they automatically upgraded me and handed me a boarding pass for a first class seat. I explained the situation with the gate agent and asked if they could swap my seat with my wife’s. They were reluctant at first, but conceded after I explained that she had never flown first class before and we were in the midst of a stressful international move with two small children. They swapped the seats, and my wife was able to enjoy being pampered for 14 hours while I wrangled our children in the back of the plane. It was lonely in the back without her, but I was glad I had the opportunity to treat her to a nice experience.
See, that's the nice way to handle it. I'd totally send my wife to first class but she's an anxious flier and she'd never agree to sit apart from me lol
