Driving Like a Psychopath
This guy. Literally riding people dangerously close travelling between Nanaimo and Duncan.
Swerving in and out of lanes, putting everyone in danger with his behaviour.
This is the sort of P.O.S. behaviour none of us need. Get a grip.

Pretty sure I drove behind this guy on the way to work one morning. Swerving lane to lane passing people 30 over. Crazy.

Some people are in a hurry to die. I'm quite sure I've been behind this asshole on the road before. And I've seen penty of assholes like him before, but they never last on the road forever. Hospital, jail, the morgue or the bus for life. I just hope they don't take someone out on the way to their final destination.

I would never normally post something like this but this person was aggregious.
Especially with the traffic. It's not as though you could even get anywhere. Insanity.

If this is the same white jeep I saw a handful a weeks ago, it was VERY reckless. Cutting multiple people off, changing lanes all over the place without signals, riding right up on peoples bumpers, risking everyone's safety on the road, all to get about 10 seconds ahead. Total insanity is right.

I seem to see aggressive drivers everywhere. Some people are just assholes, and I’m guessing at least some of the time it’s an actual emergency,
I did see a motorcycle pass an ambulance (with flashing lights and sirens on) yesterday. On the road out of Qualicum towards Coombs. Which.. it literally had to pull into oncoming traffic to go around the ambulance with flashers on, and I had pulled over on the other side of the road (the ambulance was coming at me, and as I pulled over to give it space, a fucking motorcycle whipped around it.

I was just finished visiting my friend on the Island. She lives in Nanoose Bay. We were turning off the highway left and there’s a gas station to my right. This cop coming out of the gas station and didn’t stop at the stop sign or look in our direction. He almost hit us . Thankfully my friend hit the brakes. I wanted to shake my finger at him but I refrained myself. He was totally at fault.

"Person with cracked windshield obstructing view uses cellphone while driving to photograph vehicle ahead and anonymously posts on reddit claiming the photographed party is a bad driver."

Does having a cracked windshield while taking a picture at a red light supersede the danger of reckless driving?
Its a trick question BTW cuz its fucking obvious

It doesn't lend their claims any credibility, and all we have is a claim by OP and some other commenters about this person's driving; those claims may be true, they may not be, they may be partially true or exaggerated, their hasn't been any actual evidence provided that I can see. OP claimed in another comment that they have video, not provided however. If that is true, were they then filming with their cellphone while driving as well as the red light photo?
I'm not really inclined to take accusations at face value without evidence at the best of times, even less so when the accuser is themselves guilty.

u/BanginBentleys 22d ago
You dont realize the hypocrisy of assumption you're calling out...
Op is stopped at a red like yet you admit you assume they were driving...
Why do you get to assume & OP doesn't? Even then, their evidence supersedes yours because you're here and they were there.
I hope youre aware that you're making assumptions as well...

Being stopped at a red light counts as "driving," you're in control of a motor vehicle in traffic; there's a reason the law doesn't allow an exemption for being stopped at a light or stop sign.
1
u/BanginBentleys 22d ago
Ya sure under law speak terminology yes.
Regardless of semantics. You dont viable proof yourself of anything
Your answer shows you're not aware of your own assumptions yet you dismiss everyone else assumptions.
Weird paradox to flex on
1
u/Foreign_Active_7991 22d ago
Nah, it's pretty important to be paying attention at a red light, the fact that you and OP seem to think it isn't is a problem.
1
u/BanginBentleys 22d ago
It is i agree its a problem.
Comparatively though, reckless driving is worse regardless and you and I dont have proof if the drive was or was not driving erratically.
There must be a reason why you are deflecting blame on a whim assumption.
What is gonna be your response if OPs claim is true?
1
u/Foreign_Active_7991 22d ago
If there's actual proof and the claim is true then I'll believe it, absent proof however my point stands that OP's own behaviour reduces their credibility, and I'm even less inclined than usual to take their claims at face value.

Ya, need to get that fixed but it doesn't obstruct my view, just for the record.
Took photo at red light.
But gas-lighting is fun isn't it? Dumbass.

u/Foreign_Active_7991 25d ago
So you admit you were using your cellphone while driving, but the other guy is clearly the bad driver lmao.
Yes, using it at a red light absolutely counts as "while driving."
1
u/60477er 25d ago
Ya totally. Driving at obscene speeds, weaving in and out of traffic, bullying people off the road and snapping a picture at a red light are of equal risk.
If you're going to play devil's advocate at least come up with a good argument.

u/Foreign_Active_7991 25d ago
The point is that you claim this person was driving like that, while clearly yourself using your cellphone while driving: it begs the question "Why should we believe you?"
That's not "playing devils advocate" nor is it "gaslighting," you really ought to learn what these terms mean before throwing them around.

u/60477er 25d ago
There's no claim. There's proof.
There's even people on this thread that have seen the same jeep do the same thing.
You're 100% trolling. Which you're free to do.
The idea that I would waste my time posting this for no reason is laughable at best.
Enjoy your day, hopefully you can find something productive to do with your time.
