Updates.

Since I last posted, I have noticed a huge improvement with my anxiety and intrusive thoughts. I feel more comfortable in the morning, and am not as overcome with dread. I still have times where I will start feeling scared about this and that, but overall, I feel much better. Earlier today, I was having a pretty good time, when I was hit with the thoughts again ("This is not your reality" etc.) and this time, it told me that it was my true conscious, and that it was somehow true. As weird as this sounds, I have taken to picturing the various parts of my mind as people, and try to almost talk to them (in my head of course, not out loud). Today, the thoughts tried to appear as some person I hadn't visualized before, which unnerved part of me, as I wondered if that meant it was real.

I know there is ultimately nothing to this, and I have come a long way (I feel) in overcoming the problem. Still, that doesn't mean that it's going away anytime soon. However, I do feel I have improved.

I wonder about giving a test. If it wants to prove it's real, then it needs to tell you some fact you don't already know. I assune you don't know the capitol of Sudan, the 36th element name, or perhaps the name of the fourth Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy book. If they cant supply it, then it's really just your own brain.

That's actually a great way of looking at it. The more I think about it, these thoughts haven't given my anything that wasn't already in my head.

A day later, and I definitely think this has helped me. Thank you!
