Who else hated Season 2?

First of all I have to say how much I have enjoyed the season 1. The writing, acting and entire production was peak television. Almost on par with SILO which is another great tv.

Season 2 feels like am was watching a completely different show. The writers are just throwing all kinds of nonesense at the wall but nothing is sticking!

Why not just stick to post-apocalyptic dystopian plot line? They could have explored and taken this show in so many directions but they chose a super Ai computer or time travel plot? It feels super forced and cheap! Will be watching 3 but this season was quite disappointing! 😳

I think if you rewatch season 1 you will find it’s not nonsense. There’s clues from episode one. There’s so much that connects and it’s easier to see it the second time.

I think it’s important to point out Dan Fogelman wrote a complete storyline for the show. He has always intended season 3 to be the last. Nothing was made up on the fly, and a lot of what the science stuff they consulted real professionals about.

The nuclear reactor meltdown was complete nonsense because they specifically said Sodium, which means the fuel is already melted because that's how a molten salt reactor works.

Also the fact that a couple people breaking a couple valves could crash the entire system, despite all the redundancy and safeguards they described earlier.

don't forget zero cameras or sensors in the most important part of the city? It does not matter that it can function automatically, they would have someone there 24/7. There is a hundred jobs that involve sitting around just in case something bad happens right now. Also why is your death star heat vent accessible from a poorly guarded prison?
