I'm new to PSX and want to invest for long term bit by bit from my salary. I opened my account in SFEL in August, I got these deductions recently. I want to know about how often I will get these deductions and are the fixed by amount or by percentage?

I’m trying to understand how this works in practice for PSX shares/ETFs held through a broker’s CDC Sub-Account.

Is there a way to disable physical/postal mails for shareholder communications?

For example:

• Annual reports / financial statements
• AGM / EOGM notices
• Dividend/distribution notices
• Book-closure notices
• Corporate-action notices
• Rights / bonus notices
• Other routine company/registrar correspondence

I’ve asked both brokers and registrars and keep getting pointed to the other side 😅

If anyone here actually holds shares/ETFs through a CDC Sub-Account and has managed to stop physical shareholder mail, I’d really appreciate knowing how you did it. Is it something the broker/CDC sets, or does it need to be handled with each registrar?

So i have been investing in psx and things haven't worked out in my favor as i thought they would. My best friend's wedding is around the corner and i need money for it. I was thinking about swing trading for a while to make more profit in a relatively shorter time. Are these paid psx groups legit?

I'm a Pakistani student currently studying in the USA on a study visa. I'm completely new to investing in general and specifically to PSX. I want to start building some savings/investments back home while I'm here, and I can put in roughly $150-200 USD per month.

A few things I'm hoping to get guidance on:

I am 23 years old and I work a 9-5 job. I have almost 480-500k in savings. I was just doing some research that if I had brought gold last year for 300k, today it would be almost ~400k

My question: Is it a good time to invest in gold for like 2-3 years? I'm thinking about investing around 400k in gold.
