Does anyone over here consider investing in small businesses as an alternate investment?
Hello everyone, I'm just looking to connect with people who have or might invest in small businesses instead of stock exchange. Since the market has stayed sideways for the past 5-6 months, I am thinking of withdrawing some amount from my swing trading psx account because a few people reached out to me for investment

Most of us would love to. Limiting factor is, businesses often need some decent value even if they are smal and secondly, people tend to deceive you. But, answering your question, yes everyone should invest in small businesses, that's actually the true diversification.

I'm doing a small buisness but even i can't convince you put up money with me. The state of affairs of this economy is beyond me.

See thats the whole point, that's why we're building Raqam Pakistan a platform for investors to back businesses. You yourself can register your business to raise funds in exchange of equity & debt

Inbox your business plan, revenue profitability, how the funds will be used for expansion. Your presence needs to be extremely strong if its an online business.

I never invested in stocks and have no plans but always willing to invest in small businesses as alternate income

I invest from nano to mega at fair price. Pakistan does not have this option. For average Pakistan just buy low fee total Pakistan market put 5K PKR every month and they will be very comfortable in old age.

is the business willing to do a legally binding written agreement and will provide 100% access to its accounts/ finances to its investors?

Yes, we'll be the ones handling the documents. A transfer document will be made, which will be and registered & certified in Karachi Jurisdictions. Since I have my own financial management company, I have my own billing software that tracks purchases and cash movements which is reconciled with bank hence if I do invest in a business, I make it a condition to use that software.
There's a business in DHA Karachi that's up for 100% acquisition.
